To label tote bags and fabric boxes: - luggage tags (paper ones on string) tie it onto the zip or handles - a bulldog clip, write on paper, clip it to the bag/box

For the storage bags, you could use luggage or gift tags and just the it onto the handles so you can see it easily

to keep clothes smelling nice in my drawers I buy the really nice bars of soap from tkmaxx and put them in with the clothes, they make a big difference and last forever

You can put a bit of white glue (the one that kids use for school) at the back of labelmaker labels so they don't peel off from plastic boxes, that's what I do 😉 Strong enough to keep them on but easy to rip off when needed.

My tip is to get laundry bead things out in a sock and tie it then put it in with the stuff

for the musty problem, i like to save those silica gel packs you get sometimes in new things and repurpose them for my own. DIY versions can be rice in a sock or some kind of muslin or bicarb in similar, maybe even a coffee filter just to stop it going everywhere

For labeling those bags, just make a little label on a piece of paper and use a safety pin to attach!

I understand about cleaning up Eaves (those long side storage areas in attics with little doors). They are the devil and are endless pits/time warps.

my room is the loft and I do understand how the doors can look creepy XD But i'm used to it at this point, I've had that room since i was about 12 years old. we have two storage hatches one on each side so we have 2 doors but one is covered by a set of drawers and the other is mostly covered by my bed

Tesco had vacuum bags 5 pack for £3.50 recently. The pack had 2 jumbo and 3 large sized bags. Not used them yet but look quite good. Pound stretchers also does good ones

Unstoppables in the little bags that are used for wedding favours keep things fresh ... or tumble drier sheets . Command strips work well for keeping labels on :)

Could do with trollies to put the Disney on with a rope pully system, OR a conveyer belt, generation game style 😂 (I think you can call the cupboard of doom 'the eaves'...)

Ironing and or a hot steam will kill bacteria on clothes before you store them, drip some essential oils on dryer sheets and put a few in each bag or box for fresh smells ♥

Hi, love your videos! You could add like kraft brown tags which you would often use to gift presents and tie it round. Or you could write it on the computer, print it off, laminate it , hole punch and thread some thread through! Would love to see more organising videos, especially the new kitchen.. x

Have you considered luggage tags on the totes? Instead of names and addresses, you could put the contents.

You could add a gift tag to the big carrier bags and tie it to the handles, means you can change it if ever need to and won't fall off xx

I got a pack of two very large vacuum bags from Argos. They were about £10/12 so not cheap but best ones I’ve used.

If you have dry erase markers, they erase sharpie! So if you use a sharpie to label the boxes, if you want to change it- scribble the dry erase marker over it and it’s gone.

Get some paper tape!! Can write on it then just peel it away - it even works on walls without pulling paint off

I put some of those laundry scent pellet things and put them in little organza bags and pop them in the clothes drawers and boxes! ☺️

Clear packing tape over the top of the label might get it to stick to the plastic box

Wilko are great for vacuum bags and super cheap !

A gift tag tied to the zipper or handles on top of the bags could work. A fabric softener sheet in all the boxes with clothes and bags might work.

You could put dryer sheets in with the stored clothes or if you have laundry/dryer beads, you could put them in an old toe of a nylon stocking, tie it off and cut it and then toss it in you storage container! Be careful if the storage area gets hot in warmer weather, I don't know if the beads would melt!

Am a bit late with this but for the bags you could use present labels and tie with string? Orrrr you could make your own with some card and make a hole in them for the string?

That door reminds me of Alice in Wonderland 🐰🎩 ⏰ Also, Dollar Tree or home improvement stores would have moisture eliminators But you can put in different places in the closet. They are small containers with charcoal beads which absorb moisture in the air, and when the beads are full they get heavy and fall to the bottom but it doesn’t leak everywhere. It really helps with moisture and any kind of odor.

vaccum packing bags are also good for keeping clothes fresh.

1st thats a great use for unusable space, but the builders maybe should have put two doors for easier access. Must be so difficult to get to the ends! 2nd I think what you refer to as your loft we call a finished attic in Canada. Lofts here tend to be finished attic spaces that are open to your other living spaces via a balcony or open wall. Funny how we all have our slight differences.

Could you tie on tags to label the bags? You can get plain brown labels pretty cheaply and they’d look cute and vintage.

Just laminate a label and the attach it to the handle. You can do the same with the pink crates xx

Dryer sheets in between my winter clothes keeps them fresh until I take them out of storage. Keeps away bugs too

The lenor smelly beads or cheaper ones will do the trick (the ones that go in the wash) stuff them in organza bags or cheaper (cut up tights or old socks and tie them) fill them up and stuff them in shoes, bags of clothes etc. I have some hung in my wardrobes 👍

Emma, you could write on a post it note and stick one end of it on with sellotape? might work, that way you can always take it off xxx

I'd use a mini whiteboard/dry erase board on each door and then you can swap and move around all the time without needing to retype and print your lists.
