Log Cabin Build Start to Finish | Two Year Time Lapse in ONE HOUR!

We general contract ourselves and build a timber frame log cabin in two years and condense it down in to a one hour video complete with each step of the build process from start to finish!
We are located in rolling hills of west Tennessee and used the Honest Abe Genesis Log system which are 6" x 12" timbers.

I would not give a rats ass what people are saying. It is beautiful and your mother is a very blessed lady. She can do what she wants to do. It is a log house, just because you did not cut down trees it is still a log home. Some people don’t have a life and they say such negative remarks. My mother always told me if you can’t say something nice about somebody to keep you mouth shut. I love it, I would like to know where you got it from. I would like to built me one and I am 67 years old. Good job. We have earned the right to do it like we want to.

Beautiful home and the quality is second to none. I don't especially care for the tin on the staircases though. It blocks a lot of the beautiful view of the rest of the house. Being at that vantage point where you could enjoy seeing everything, it obscures the view drastically in my opinion. I loved the color of the exterior and the lightly colored chinking, silver metal roof. It has that traditional look that I love. It's an amazing home with all the rustic charm but with all the modern amenities. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video. Thanks for sharing and God Bless

So beautiful, with all those beautiful logs and the beautiful stairs which are in a beautiful stain stained . And the stain on the walls is also beautiful in this beautiful home and the walls , the wall are not out of wood and we painted them in a beautiful grey and it looks beautiful in that grey which compliments the beautiful wood which is so beautiful and what was most beautiful was when I turned the volume off to not have to listen to all that bla bla beautiul bla. Very nice home but you need to go the speech therapy my beautiful. geez

Sweet build! Everything looks so nice. The corrugated tin adds a special rustic touch with the cross-bar supports. I love the barn doors all throughout. I especially love the kitchen area. The gray cabinets along with the unique granite is gorgeous together! I like how your lady finished off the look with touches of black & white checkered decor items. These seemingly little touches go a long way! Fabulous job on the build!

Who ever did your electrical did a fantastic job! Leave a loop at every box and strip the romex before you put it in the box and make your joints!

You could almost put a small little hide away room up in the beams of the loft where the dormer is. That would be a cool spot for a gaming area for kids or another little bunk area. If you don't understand what I mean and are curious or interested message me and I'll explain more and better. I think it would be a really cool and unique idea, not to mention adding room for more guest in an other ways wasted space. Not bashing you home at all, I think it's gorgeous the way it is, just thought it was a cool idea for an add on later down the line.

To add to my comment, I know it would be a very small space but, it would be perfect for some bean bags, TV, and XBox or even just a small place for a queen or maybe king mattresses placed on the floor that would be built across the loft beams.

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous love the color she used to love the furnishings love everything about it the only thing that caught my eye was the corrugated metal on the steps needs to go to same direction that’s on the railings upstairs but they don’t have it gone straight up and down and that’s an eyecatcher but everything else is to perfection I would love to called at home

Lovely build. I built a log home in 2020 into 2021 also. We designed the layout to accommodate my elderly mom with dementia living with us. Unfortunately, by the time we had finished it.. my mom had taken a turn for the worse. We moved her in last September.. and 3 weeks later she passed. But I'm grateful she got to see it. :)
