This time I came to my log cabin to do the floors. I had to make several runs because I damaged the saw. The cat came to me again, only this time it was a different cat. I managed to get him on video and feed him. Enjoy watching it, everyone!

Awesome floor installed. You can make a cold storage at the back of your cabin. Cut out a 2x2X3 feet deep hole and insulate with styrofoam boards, install a door with styrofoam on the back. Instant cold storage. Great video 👌

On your metal “heat shield” for your wood stove and pipes... you really need an “air space” so put some spacers (preferably metal ones) to keep your shielding off the wood behind it. Enjoy your videos!

Suggestions: 4 essential tools Axe sharpening puck Saw sharpening files (4) Saw oil (to keep the blade in top condition) a radio (old dial radio) to listen to some music (which ever genre is your preference) for motivation (not your phone) AM/SW/FM (if any exist) Put a tin (tin can coke or other beverage used and not in use) cut a 3inch small piece and nail it to the wood behind the candle to reflect the light into the cabin plus it will keep the wood safer

Add a decent sized lantern to the center of the room, hang it off the ceiling and you should have great lighting inside, way better than those small cables.

I would suggest that you make a box for the floor under your wood stove. 2” deep and wide as it is tall from the centre of the stove out. Fill it with beach sand and/or fine gravel. Catch any sparks that get out of the stove. Stay true.

Cut the log down the center, trim the halves, stand them up and then cut your planks. Your chain was loose, be sure to clean out the channel on the bar often so the chain doesn’t flop back and forth, will get a nice smooth cut that way. I sharpen my chain to 20 deg, get nice long chips that way, saves gas and time.
