Logan himself admitted he can't necessarily "forgive" the rock. Normally, yes, the rock shouldn't need to be forgiven by Logan because he did, as you said, the "right" course of action. But that's not how emotions work. Emotions and their complexities can come off as "irrational" because of their lack of linear understanding through the framework of logic. Logan hasn't forgiven the rock for doing what was right. Logically he understands that even he would've done something similar. But that doesn't hinder Logan from feeling betrayed. Key word "feeling". It doesn't remove anything from the narrative his emotions display the rocks' actions through. He even mentions the way by which he did it (the secretary, and not face to face) was even worse for Logan. Logan needs to put his ego away and now "Forgive" the rock, even if Logically, to you and you alone, Wade, know that this isn't how it /should/ work. Once Logan does that, which forgiveness is acceptance, then he'll be able to move on accordingly.

As someone who has experienced suicide/attempts very personally and takes an interest in the human mind, I'm gonne be honest and just say this. When Logan first went on his redemption arc it felt genuine at first BUT then we started getting more situations such as the crypto zoo scam, tasering a dead animal, making out to his fans he got shot BUT most importantly the bringing up and weaponising of Dillon Danis's dead father just proved to me in my opinion that logans doesn't really care in the way we think. Now Dillon said dumb fucking things as well but Logan just sometimes give off a very detached from human emotions vibes, theres a pattern/tendency to not see the severity of these types of traumas in realtion to someone who is dead, which is something quite disgusting in my opinion but I digress. The explanation for why he is like this is to me, is a combination of a lack of empathy to other peoples pain but then at the same time a mix of ego and narcissism. Now in no means am I calling Logan a Patrick Bateman character but I am saying I do think he just doesn't have the capabilities of feeling those emotions, which is a thing that can happen in the human brain, sometimes the brain just cant make that connection. Logan in the conversation when it came to his "beef" with the Rock just shows it clear as day, the conversation if u read between the lines is more about how it effected him and how the Rock did HIM dirty, now yes he made sure to put in there how the Rock is "justified" BUT not long before the convo he was clearly trying to send shots at this man but then as soon as a moment arises where he could garner sympathy from others he jumps at it like a predator stalking its prey. Instead of making the conversation about how lets be real here took HE advantage of a tortured mans soul for views and clout, thats not something to gloss over, he instead turns it into how HE FELT. Now let me tell u something simple, a person like logan paul will only take it serious when others deem it that way, he just wanted to save face, plus he clearly didn't want to get down to the nitty gritty of it in fear of John Cena judging him.
