Logan Sargeant brought out the red flags after a heavy crash in first practice for the Japanese Grand Prix, with thoughts immediately turning to the condition of the repaired chassis he is racing with this weekend.
At around the halfway point, the first practice session was brought to a halt after Sargeant went wide on a hot lap, before ending up on the grass and losing control. He would then spin through the gravel and hit the barriers at Turn 7. Thankfully he was straight on the radio to confirm he was okay.
