Actually, if you have a torch placed at your feet level (or any non-air block for that matter), the gravel won't be placed above you :)

You get more drops from using Fortune when you harvest your crops. I have rarely seen any auto-harvesters that were more efficient than that. This whole video exploits a lot of common misconceptions and generalizations.

@@hardlyjack9669 Especially when your escaping a servers spawn when its nothing but a wasteland as far as the eye can see. As long as you eat zombie flesh in bulk and not when you drop 1 or 2 points of hunger downwards than its good. It actually helped me stay alive when I was escaping spawn with nothing but armored gear players on one side of spawn and a vast desert on the other. Surviving without trees, animals, and crops for at least 1 or 2k blocks out from spawn is impossible to escape in solo except what I mentioned above.

A different way Use a monster spawner to spawn in continues amounts of the mob you want and you will never get lonely but sometimes its cramped I know cause i do it all the time
