A few years back I thought I knew how to cut trees down. I found out I was not that good at it. I cut one down that got to the ground just behind me. Right across my back. I had a total of 61 breaks from my shoulders to my hips. I had 4 in my back. One place separated and screwed my spinal cord up. Now I've been in a wheelchair ever since. .BUT. I still love to watch you and nuts319 and others cut them down. I watch y'all, Dirt Perfect and Letsdig18 all the time I'll put one of you three guys playlist on and it plays on. Have you looked at the new 592xp saws? They also have a 585 that is not an AutoTune but I’ve been building some of the AutoTune saws and the fact the saw does the adjustment for ya is pretty nice. Also if the limiters are still on your adjusting screws you need to defeat them and get them off and it’ll give you more adjustment on that saw. Check those 592’s out. They really got that the power.

Take it from whence it comes: you are a proud man who doesn't want to be a bum, I've heard you say it again and again... But it takes a big man to be able to recieve as well as give. It is humbling to recieve graciously... everything is a gift of God, even the breath you have in your lungs right now and you might be depriving someone of the joy and blessing of giving into your life. It might sound like religion to you, but think of you coming in honesty to someone else and offering help and having that honest help refused...

Little tip on the carb set it to the factory settings maybe turn the high up just a hair then use your low to set your idle If that dose not work Throw the carb over the hill and buy a new one lol. Good luck and god speed Tator.

Hi Wade , When you talk about Puddin it reminds me of an old English comedy series called Only Fools and Horses. The guy in it , not the full ticket, sweeps the streets for 20 years and gets a medal from the council for saving them money as he has used the same broom. When questioned about this being the same broom he said it was down to maintaining his broom well. The broom had 17 new heads and 14 new handles in its time. Sentiment is wasting you time with this saw. Give it a decent burial and invest in a new one. I heard Stihl have nice shiny ones?

have ya checked it for vacuum leaks??? try spraying non flammable brake cleaner ( with it running) around the cylinder base , carb neck, and crank seals/ bearing. see if it dies when ya spray

Glad to see you are doing some more hand cutting love it when you do hand cutting. I know it is safer to mechanical cut . But sometimes you just have to cut old school. Keep the hand cutting skills from rusting away. Still hand cut myself just to stay in practice and not lose the knowledge of cutting timber and the judgment it needs to do it safe. Buy a holzfforma g372xp , or they got 395 to n u should be able to switch parts out with all of them , try one out for home much you cut should do great for ya 👍🤘🤘🤘🤘 and there a 1/3 of the price of a new husky/stihl

sounds like there is a vacuum leak somewhere, but im sure you are aware of that

It sounds like you have an air leak somewhere on your saw the way it stumbles coming back down to an idle

I love a 28 bar, making cutting a lot easier for me. And them little trees will get you, a fellar don't watch them close enough
