That's a beautiful vocal. What microphone was used for the recording? Saturation is critical I think; I guess the tube eq is sufficient?

I can’t get pitch correction to work, no matter how many settings I change, I can’t hear any difference to the vocals, what am I doing wrong?

Ur vocals will always sound clean cause they run through expensive hardware such as pre amps and compressors that's one of the reasons I'll never use or buy ur presets try to master bedroom vocals with no room treatment and no pre amps just mic ,interface, and pc I would love to hear

doesn't matter how someone gets to the final product.. it's about the quality of the final product. period. it's music..just enjoy it, there's no rules in art, so do what you feel is best for you and your music and others will do the same. it's not a competition, no one has to be a master musician or artist to produce and put out music.. just do what you love and that's that.. plus, she is an amazing singer..can't deny it unless there's a bit of jealousy going on here..PLUS, probably every single hit song you listen to has been processed with expensive hardware and pre-amps and compressors lolol that's how the professionals get it done.. so you are arguing against something that your favorite artists use on every single song they put out. use technology as an advantage, lord knows the disadvantages, might as well get some good out of this new world of tech.. sorry i usually don't comment on stuff, but i felt the need to say these words.. would love to hear some of your music as well, God bless, hope this doesn't offend you, if i did im sorry❤️ have a good day

I'm still dumbfounded that Apple got Logic running on an iPad and the interface is better than desktop daws. It looks like Ableton with Studio One sharper cleaner interface.

me personally i dont use the stock pitch correction i use Auto Tune Mobile i don’t really know how to use the stock pitch correction vst

I would never *ever* claim that someone could get “better” results with third party plugins but fabfilter’s various bundles make this an even easier/more enjoyable experience. The fact that the best plug-in company on the planet has made its stuff available for iOS is just 🥹
