BRO, This is literally What I've been looking for, for like a year or 2. Been usind ADSR and Serato Sample- this is a great feature. Been wanting to switch over to ableton for the lack of this warping tempo, since I use alot samples THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!!

@@itstonyholiday switched to Ableton as some of the colabs used Ableton. Liked it but missed the routing features of Logic. Then Studio One as it integrated with Melodyne. Bought a bee M1 Mac demoed the new Logic, I was sold. And for the price of £179.99 incredible. I shall report back in a few months 😎

I'm having an issue when my project is at 48k and I have Loops that are 44.1 k in my untagged loops they don't audition properly because of the sample rate difference. They are fine and automatically adjust when I drop them in my timeline of my project but not when auditioning them in the loop browser. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks

its not a secret, what is important in this , which you should. make a video about is how to actually save entire setup as loop. choose a midi loop you created then press shift+control+o and it will save the comp with all the instrument and channel strip video liked because your content is quality anyway

Excellent! I knew about the Untagged Loops feature but was using the ADSR Sample Manager (free) for non-Apple loops. I was under the impression ADSR would consolidate all my samples/loops from various vendors including Apple, and in different formats, in one place. But now, it seems you can do everything in Logic and ADSR is useless to me? The only outlier seems to be Native Instruments and their *.NKS format. Any advice?

Hey Jeff, great question! I can't speak on the ADSR sample manager as I haven't used it, but I do know that a lot of people really enjoy it. To be honest, I don't think Logic's sample browser is the best, but it is integrated within the DAW and I've made a decent workflow using it. This is one of the major flaws of Logic for sure, I'm hoping that they make a change to the UI in the next big update which would include a sample manager. Thanks for watching + the comment!!

great video, however, do you know why some of my 'loops' won't play when I click on them. they only play when I right click and do 'quick look' which is a much longer process when looking through sounds

I haven’t had issues with the untagged loops as they’re usually analyzed and put in the proper formats. The file browser you might because they’ll only playback if they’re 24b

Hey man I’ve been trying to wrap my head over this but still haven’t found a solution. So I use untagged loops a lot on my Mac on my cracked Logic Pro X and I download the ZIP files from external parties. Whenever I download it, I’m required to keep the folder on my desktop and it makes my desktop screen saver very messy, whenever I try and put all my sample packs in one single folder, I can’t open the untagged loops. Any idea on how I can solve that?

Does this create a copy of your loops or is it more like just an index and Logic goes to the original copy?

Great question, I believe they’re copies but the first one you put in acts as a reference. So if you delete that, the untagged loops folder will be gone as well

Got the answer - “This adds a new alias for that folder to the Untagged Loops folder and keeps the loops in their original locations.” So that’s good news (for me)!

This browser is unusable. It wont play the samples correct while playin a beat at the same time. It has some strange sync problem…

...untagged is much better to use than user loops..if you make a user loops library(converted with logic) the loops will be 16bit.....its not supporting 24 bit....

@@itstonyholiday ...I hope they will integrate 32bit float soon....every other daw has...logic can export as 32bit but when imports it converts to 24...and when exports to user library to 16bit...regards and keep making great videos...

Yes I agree, you can click each sample in the browser and it will make a 24bit copy, but way too time consuming imo. Glad you like them, thank you for watching!
