I’m so interested to hear your thoughts about Logic 11’s Session Players and the increased AI-led resources available to us now. In this episode, I’ll briefly show you how the Session Players have expanded beyond Drummer to introduce Bass and Keyboard Players too, and how they can rapidly be configured to create musical building blocks. But then we’ll dive into a discussion about whether - from a composition perspective - those building blocks are 'too large' and/or whether we need to exercise caution if we’re using them in that way. As Arrangement tools, I can see their value but it feels to me as though we shouldn’t be in too much of a hurry to short-circuit the creative process when composing.
