He was and wasnt at the same time. He had a large internet fanbase then, i mean he even toured world wide by this mixtape too. No rapper that early on can say they accomplished what logic did. His mixtapes are definitely ahead of the times. I almost feel he would have been more recognized if he came later in XXL.

I feel like the reason he named this mixtape undeniable is because he really did show how versatile he is from mimicking other artists to a tee but still has his flare in it and it starts to transition into his own style when he starts rapping about his own life on the last tracks

Yo you guys doin good. If you can react to some of Gambino's projects. "Because the internet" is the best in my opinion but they all pretty damn good. his projects in order is "Culdesac" "ep" "camp" "royalty" "Because the internet" "stn mtn/kuai" (it's a joint mixtape/ep) "awaken my love" (which isn't a rap album). All these projects are pretty different in terms of style. If you listen in order you get a good sense of his growth. The stuff before culdesac are a little low quality which is why I would say skip them.
