@@PANDApoopish I completed an engineering degree and diploma in the school of Information Technology at Carleton University, and was requested to join a startup by a very good friend of mine. This position was initially infrastructure focused, with an emphasis on reliability and operability of virtual infrastructure and applications for the purposes of Software Development. It was recoined as DevOps roughly a year after I began working, and later began moving towards Site Reliability Engineering. These two roles are also very similar, though I began showing my enthusiasm for the underlying production systems and infrastructure, as opposed to implementing solutions for development. This change of emphasis was due to building on many engineering capacities, facilitated by University. With this acknowledgement, I was focused on the utilization of automation and scripting to produce systems and engineering solutions in the DevOps role I was in, and this naturally lead me to becoming equally productive in many other capacities, so I was then promoted to a Systems Administrator and became responsible for all of the little nuts and bolts I was looking after previously via Ansible and bash/powershell scripting, alongside responsibilities for the entirety of the design and business infrastructure, apps and platforms, including desktops, laptops, workstations, etc.

See, you can pick anything you want but in my opinion, pick DevOps related stuff first. There are multiple reason for it. First of all, a lot of tools, scripting stuff, tutorials, projects, softwares, etc are free. Open source won't burn a hole in your pocket. Whereas, in Cloud you've to create an account using credit/debit card and then you get free credits. These free credits don't go for long and get used up. So, start with DevOps and later once you've good knowledge in it, pick Cloud and make a combination of both in your resume. All the best!
