Before replacing the microswitches use an aerosol contact cleaner to inject the switches with cleaner via the applicator tube whilst pressing them. Worked very well and has been ok for over a year

Tiny switches. I repaired the wheel click on my mouse, the axle had broken that went through the wheel and into a sensor and the centre click was on the same axle on the other side, when it broke it would not scroll or click, so took it to bits and used a straw off a WD40 tin to make a new axle. I glued it into the wheel sensor and it crossed the micro switch for the centre click. I can honestly say it now works better than when it left the factory. I bought a new mouse to replace, but after the repair I much prefer the repaired mouse. Good video.

You could just to clean clicks, not to change them. It's possible to take off the plastic cover and then clean the click mechanism inside.

Thank you for the video. This helped me in fixing my old Anywhere MX that had developed clicking problems. It functions well now. The only problem is, the new Omron switches seem to have less travel and positive clicky feel compared to the originals. I'm debating now about hunting down a different pair of switches.

🤕So essentially, it's a disposable mouse because Logi didn't gold plate the contacts or make a self cleaning design. I replaced mine 3 times. I have no patience for a product this expensive for it's type to need replacement or this type of repair in 2-3 years.

This occurs with all LOGITECH mouse. Very bad quality of mouse.

I found another easy solution just open the mouse and place a piece of double side tape of a piece of paper between the button and the switch and problem solved
