I was so wrong about the G cloud....I love it!! Specially for retro games ..screens beautiful!! the economics and build quality is fantastic!!! I use it more then my Xbox and computer!! Only regret was waiting so long.

I have had a Gcloud for about 2 weeks. I can say, bcuz of the feel and the amazing battery and how it great it allows me to play my ps4/5 and Xbox, I haven’t even turned on my Steam Deck or my WIN3. Now I’m worried

Great review man. Too many reviews are trashing it for not being a different product instead of reviewing it for what it is. The g cloud is a companion app to play Xbox, pc, and ps5 in your house. Mine is on the way. I'm excited but also understand what I'm getting into. This is pretty much so I don't have to use my phone for remote play.

I love your little "skits" or "behind-the-scenes" things you do at the ens of each of your videos. It really makes them more fun to watch. Great review; can't wait for whatever you're gonna do next!

Good video, informative with a touch of silliness! Lighting is good, enjoying these color schemes! Personally I like the older distance between you and the camera. In many instances when your face and the device are in the same shot, the height to which you naturally hold up the device causes it to be partly cropped out. In my opinion, the biggest segment to be affected by this is when you talk about the grip, you hold it up to talk about it but then move it just out of shot. There is a glimpse of you moving your hands around to emphasize some of the features and you are clearly looking at it but we can't see the parts you're touching. Also, you use your hands a lot when speaking and unfortunately we don't get to see most of it this time, those motions make it feel more interactive and more than you just talking to a camera.

Just got my G cloud. Im using it to stream from my consoles. I can now enjoy playing my games anywhere in my household. Plus i got my OLED switch and waiting on a steam deck 2.

I love the G Cloud! I mostly use it to remote play my PS5 and Xbox series X. This thing has run flawlessly.

This the first review I've seen from an mobile gamer perspective. It's funny how retro guys say android side sucks and you're over there just loving it. I do pay for PC games for my cloud gaming experience but their still a lot cheaper than Switch games great point!

If youre against this device (those in the comments) it's not for you. For me it was about simplicity and battery. Playing on this or an iPad is a no-brainer. This is for casuals looking for a better experience. And that's why I bought it.

Took a trip to Vegas and I was able to play my Xbox remotely I have had very great experience steam deck would probably have been better but it would have cost me more money to get to where I needed to be I don't want the base model because only 64 GB and also I had to buy games so remote play swayed my choice to get the G Cloud.

Bit too close to the camera, but lighting look great

I got mine on Black Friday for 250. I'm obsessed with it. The screen is amazing, the battery is basically unkillable, the controls and ergonomics are rock solid. The wifi chip performance is great. It's perfect for me, a casual gamepass gamer who sometimes plays on remote play also.

The video out for docking is fixed now in a software update from a about 6 months ago. I don't know why people keep getting hung up on the price - it's a really good device and at the price people keep saying it should be, it would just not be such a good device

Hello! Nice review! I was wondering if you could help me out! I saw you were playing Halo in your review! I can not seem to get my Halo to play correctly while using the G Cloud! When ever I try to use my joystick to look around, it just zooms all around like my sensitivity is set to 100, even though I have it set to 1 ! Any help on this?

Good video :) For me I actually wouldn't say the Switch has better games... as long as you can be streaming to this thing. But that's also because I just don't really enjoy the typical Nintendo games, and many 3rd party games don't have the best experience on Switch (I have one, I'm trying to sell it atm). But... the problem is, you need really good connectivity for streaming, and one of my uses would be at my mom's house who lives out in the boonies and doesn't have the best internet. So I would be reduced to Android gaming there. So I ordered a Steam Deck.

It looks like a great device for emulation. And regarding the visuals of the video, they're very good. I don't know if I prefer them over your classic studio-background (I love that, not shure why), but I quite like it.

Maybe logitech should have worked a bit more closely with android, google, and snapdragon. I been thinking getting a device for android gaming and their ton to choose from. Though i have a phone i dont really use it for gaming as i prefer it to just be my phone.

IMO one point of handheld gaming is portability, and part of it is you can take it everywhere, mobile games should be fine but to unlock its full potential like the cloud gaming, it should have at least supported a cellular data or even 5g but yeah nvm. At that price point, it's possible to buy a Nintendo switch or a gaming android phone/tablet with updated processor.

I have the stream deck and G cloud.. They both do what they do.. And it's lighter than my deck.. it's heavy.

Do not need docking. I connect it to my Chromecast in bedroom at night. Full screen gaming with my Xbox controller.

Loved the video, great review. My main question about this unit is can it handle running things like AetherSX2 (ps2 emulator), mupen64, Citra 3ds emulator, DraStic ds emulator, or dolphin emulator (wii/gamecube). I have a Samsung galaxy s21+ 5G as my daily driver and it runs all of these pretty well, but I'm wondering if I go to a more gaming centric device like this logitec g cloud... will it struggle to do what my phone can do or will it exceed its capabilities?

Your lighting and stuff has always been really cool. Take it with a grain of salt, but I like your older one slightly better because it feels like you're in a room. Obviously you're still in a room but idk, personally I feel it seems better to exist in a real viewable space if you are able. I'll be honest about the product though. When I heard Logitech AND Tencent were involved I was expecting the price to be so subsidized that the Steam Deck would tremble, and considered buying one of these for the sake of streaming from the Deck after I got caught up buying so many Micro SD cards to add games to it. After hearing the price... I just bought another Deck... It's a cool idea for an ecosystem where people who are already paying for things can maximize on their purchase. I don't really subscribe to any console or PC services that offer cloud in a way that would tempt me to buy this. So the price is way out of bounds for what it would do for me. I will probably get all the heat about it, but I'm sure I'd actively encourage everyone looking at this to skip Chinese a few times and grab an entry level Deck.

You can't really compare the Steam Deck with the G cloud. The Deck is for situations like: in a airplane, on the go. The g cloud is for streaming only, but good luck doing that inside an airplane or in internet development countries like Ruanda and Germany (I'm not sure about Ruanda) there's no public WiFi in Germany and barely 5G. The second thing is the price 399$ for the smallest Deck versus 300$ for the g cloud?! The Deck is able to do both for only 100$ more ... Sorry but it's apple and pears, you can't compare and the g cloud is too expensive. I bought a a Razer kishi for 49$ and i have a g cloud style console ... Only to notice that gaming on Android is very bad (pay to win, games that run itself completely and waiting and buying coins ... wtf). For cloud gaming it's too expensive and for "real" gaming it's too slow for the price. Result = nonsense

I have to admit that screen on steam deck is not too great (I have the version with a fancy screen). I’m also using it mostly for remote play and to be honest I’m currently playing Sonic on Xbox and God of War on PS5 and I find playing those games in remote play problematic due to lag. Maybe the android versions of remote play are more stable, I don’t know.

Just buy a steam deck if you want a portable device. I've been a console gamer since the nes and I bought a deck about a month ago it was the best money I ever spent. You don't want to be tethered to the cloud, not in this generation. 👍

For the most of the first minute of this video you are saying things that could be simplified as 'L g cloud is sth different from SD, that marketing ?failed? with picking their customer base etc', then for the rest of review/product presentation you proceed to compare G Cloud to SD and Switch... Yeah, I know, it was not said as directly, but it was implied, either consciously or not. If all of those devices DO NOT compete for the same market share/customer base, then why compare them? Its like comparing car and a city bus. Also, with how much you talk about android system, wouldnt it be interesting to compare Cloud to another android devices and how well they can compete one against another. With many smartphone/phablets/tablets screens going well into 6" and sometimes close to 7" and with slapping some phone controller with thumbsticks, triggers and all that jazz how well can you scratch that gamer itch? TL;DR you sending me mixed signals mate, get your act straight
