This is a comparison of the ‪@LogitechG‬ G915 TKL and the ‪@redragonkeyboard‬ Horus TKL (K621). In this video I'm talking about the difference between the two keyboards - the most obviously being the price as the Redragon keyboard is ridiculously cheap for the features that it offers, while the G915 TKL is a premium keyboard that is my main keyboard on a regular basis for a number of different reasons.

It's really affordable

It sounds great to type on and is a pleasure to use
Lowlights though:
2.4GHz connection seems flakey and signal loss is a problem (BUT I have a lot of wireless devices in my room)

def getting these red dragons with that usb c rather than nasty micro usb, the swappable switches is good for longevity too

I've got a Horus myself and while I like it there's a few issues I have with it: Sometimes a button will get stuck so you get stuff like thissssssssssssssssssssssss. The RF also seems a bit weak, I basically need to have the dongle within a few feet of the keyboard to keep a reliable connection going. I like the feel of the keyboard though, with the exception of the weird rubber media keys.

the 2.4 ghz works almost perfectly with a dongle on the table just in front of the keyboard (btw this is a good practice for every wireless peripherals)

i own the 915 and hate that the alt keys do not light up symbols like +!@ are a pain when im programming. So this may be a great alt i would have bought the red dragon just for the keycaps if they were compatible with the 915

So wait, the Redragon is cheaper, has USB-c, illuminated secondary characters, hot swappable switches, etc! Amazing! Shame the wireless sucks.

logitech premium but bad keyboard with bad key rattling sound. She's just beautiful and that's it, he has no other virtues. The sound of the keys is just terrible.

Hey, very nice review! Got a question. I have two computers on my setup, do you think If I plugged in the 2.4 wireless USB on the first device and the USB cable to the second device I could use the keyboard for both computers just by switching with FN 4 and 5?

Could you replace the switches on the reddragon one with Outemu switches online?

What about the software experience? Do they have the same RGB/macro customisability? On-board memory vs. needing to run bloatware like Razer does with Synapse, etc?

That LED flicker is kind of an interesting note for anyone who streams. It's like getting an accent light that flickers on video whereas Logitech seems to have made the effort to design their RGB circuit properly to not flicker on camera. Note a huge deal, especially if you don't stream, but still interesting.

There are low profile cherry Mx silver/speed switches in the k65 low profile (I think it's called) apparently more of them were made with a cheaper low profile switch also by cherry called the viola, I have the speed variety though. I can't say for sure but by looking at them , if the pin out lines up, they would make a perfect alternative. That being said, pain in the ass to repair/replace though they are the stock switches do sound nicer.
