Hello I'm happy with this system, but the amp on the subwoofer is getting terribly hot. I'm afraid the product won't last long.

@@AlmyCat after 30 min of use volume 40%, I noticed that the subwoofer heats up at the speaker terminals - INPUT

@@AlmyCat after the researches that I made The fault comes from the 5V of the power supply card, this one is provided by a LM1116 type IC, the voltage is not stable and falls to 3V after 5 minutes of operation. The culprits are the 2 capacitors of 47uF (which are not domed) and which are located at the input and output of the 5V regulator. These capacitors are out of order because of the two power resitances of 5 and 12 V which are close by and which become very hot.

Digital D class crap not good The very best amplifier for a subwoofer is a class AB or Class H amplifier. Class D amplifiers are too slow and cannot keep up with repetitive bass. A class AB has a toroidal transformer and coke can capacitors so when the kick drum kicks the woofer responds instantly "A/B is louder , better , more powerful" because it is A/B.
