It always sounds better without its grill on it and looks better oh right, but the look of the subwoofer makes the effect more like you can ever imagine.

Very good, to be honest, although I feel that the Logitech Z906 amplifier is very powerful for the subwoofer transducer (for music, the subwoofer has between 50% bass volume and 70%). In itself, the quality is very good in the middle of 2022 and it is worth it, failures have not been seen so far in some Logitech units. I solved the problem of heating the amplifier with a fan on the back plate of the subwoofer so that at least it does not get too hot and lasts a few more years. Without a doubt, it would be necessary for Logitech to launch a soundbar with wireless subwoofer and integrate tweeters for better clarity and so that the amplifier for the subwoofer transducer is not very powerful. Congratulations. I had it's predecessor z5500 which served me flawlessly for 10 years . Now it's control pod is dead and I will absolutely getting the z906.

TheReaper 7 well i can tell you that for the price i got it for its totally worth it, i was lucky to get it for 150$, the bass is super clean and awesome, but dont expect some CRAZY shit, after all its only pc speakers

3D mode downmixes true 5.1 down to stereo and converts it back to 5.1 . So leave it at nothing after going to 2.1, it will be the true sound as source. If the sound isnt good, the source is not configured properly.

Nice movie as always :) Good sound quality and good shots. How would you rate the sound quality of these speakers compared to a real good stereo set (amplifier and speakers) (for example one of the stereo systems which I saw on your channel - Marantz, Cambridge Audio, Denon and Dali, Athena, Kef, Focal or others). I know it's difficult but write how big the difference is in your opinion. I like real stereo systems (amplifier + speakers) but I am curious about your opinion.

Thanks for comment :) If you love listen pop/dance,rnb and EDM music, that Logitech have enough, you love it, because bass is a lot. Of course, if you love real music, like rock, true instrumental songs, good vocals, like Bruce Springsteen, Adele etc. That you need go for HiFi speakers, of course typical bookshelf 2-way speakers dont produce so lot bass, have can z5500 or z623, but from hifi you get a lot better sound experience of natural sound, sweet vocal and instrument reproduction. Good floorstanding speakers hive you a lot of bass, fast, real bass, not slow and blurry like PC speakers. You need listen both types - PC speakers and HiFI, than you find out which sound reproduction is closer your taste. Second hand logitech 5.1 system can get about for $150-200 and it very good price/performance, especially if you look a lot of movies(surround experience).

@@Techscrews thanks for the reply :) I prefer real HiFi and I use two systems (Marantz PM7000 + Cerwin Vega XLS 12 and second Denon PMA-720AE + Elac ELX 8068). These are budget sets but still love this sound and I like it more than with computer speakers. But the Logitech speakers are good for games and movies ;) Greetings from Poland :)

yes, it's made from stereo virtual 3D. But also you can buy on ebay HDMi converter to analog, maybe get better output sound quality, a lot of tv headphone output suck.

Man i was like do i buy those speakers do i not but afther this video i was 100% that i wanna buy them and i did i love them the subwoofer is damn so powerfull volume 45-50% bass 100% shakes the damn doors like hell 😂 🤣

That z906 is for toddlers they need that kind of can ruin the walls with speakers holes the walls full Is it fine then when the walls are ruined the walls are full of speakers and holes No normal person needs that kind of many use of the z623 on television Amazon site reviews read that one guy bought four Logitech z623 one for computer and three for television You can see how good and popular it is

If you love just music and use it at you PC, take z623, for saved money take better sound card and headphones = win win :)

Aetursm, I brought my Z-906 today. But it feels not ok. I connected via analog. the supreme fx audio is not giving any sound when clicked on the center sub or rear channels just the 2 front channels.any idea why?

only with analog cable, just buy adapter 2x3.5mm to 1x3.5mm and connect it to PC, then to adapter two aux cables, one for first z906, second aux cable for second system, done.

I like a fast and accurate bass, but computer systems can't provide it. Only good HiFi or PA.

i have same z906 . speakers starts distortion after volume is 80% . is it manufacturing defect or it happenes to all z906?? i use laptop for the output (aux).. distortion is little less when switch to 3d mode.

Dude, 100% vokule not target. You need adjust volume listening music, some song max volume before distortion can be 60%, some 80%. It's not defect. Of course better dound source give better output quality. But 100% volume not target.

@ArtūrsM I see u tested a lot of 2.1 systems. Which one would you recommend for a $300 budget? I am considering the Edifier S530D and 350 but the subwoofer is too big for the former and I dislike the color of the latter. Any alternatives? It must have a subwoofer :)

@@Techscrews So the s350db would be perfect for me however I don't like that it has no front cover. I have a toddler at home and she would always get her fingers in the speakers, I'm sure. I need an alternative. I just want to use it for TV but I really like to have bass. I have no receiver.
