Nice moment in which Jonathan and especially Martha like Lois. Too bad it's ruined by how Clark has come to the realization that the general who was after him as Superman was Lois' father. It also doesn't help that Martha doesn't like Sam, and that Sam senses some familiarity with Clark. Jimmy's interruption may have prevented Sam from figuring out the truth. Despite the awkwardness of Sam Lane with Clark and his family, and the issues that Lois and her father still have, I think that it's clear that Sam does care about Lois very much.

0:35 - Usually when there's a photo of young Clark with a young lady, that's usually a sign that the girl is Lana Lang. Not surprised, she got a redesign, as she'd unfortunately get labeled an MJ Watson clone given the disparity in popularity between the two. Oh boy am I not looking forward to that discourse. Still, it'll be interesting to see if any of this comes to pass.

@@StareachValcin I'm hoping for ultra-protective Lana with some of the smoother elements of her 90s TAS version. I feel like Lana would freak out at the knowledge that they hurt Clark. Plus, I feel like she would complement Lois better.

@@ExtremeMadnessX So, depending on the pieces of Lana they take from the books and adaptations: 1. Lana post-Crisis is in love with Clark Kent not Super-Man. I noticed that Lois has only fully kissed Clark as Super-Man. 2. The times that Lana has been under pressure in the 90s Animated Series, she managed to get information by charming others into thinking the way she wanted to. As seen with the Parasite introduction episode, this is a struggle for Lois. 3. New-52 Lana was a science correspondant as an Electrical Engineer. Basically could work as an exhibition or explanation source where Lois can't connect the pieces. 4. As Super-Man is getting more powerful, Lois tends to get more and more impressed while Lana stays grounded on who she remembers when they were very young.

According to TV Tropes, General Samuel "Sam" Lane likely hasn't figured it out yet whether or not Clark and Superman are one and the same, but he has his suspicions 😰, and that he doesn't seem to like him (Clark) regardless 😥😓.

@@StareachValcin Depends on which Lana Lang we get. I could see most versions working, but it would really depends on what the goals of the team are. "Sultry fashionista" would be the best bet, but that's also sort of a one off role.

They should have had Mr. Kent shoot general lane to protect Clark obviously Louis is devastated but Clark is mad at her for keeping secrets from him when they promise no more secrets after she forced his secrets out by jumping off a building and the cans are mad at Lois for bringing her father who was an insane general hunting their son like a hab hunting movie Dick to their farm and tell her and Jimmy to stay away from their family Until they know how to trust each other that's what should have happened and they reconcile in season 2 why didn't they do that they added a lot of differences to this series But I don't think they did it hard enough.
