Facts. This is the best marvel tv episode thus far and it doesn’t even have a fight scene. It’s pure character driven and story driven shit was dope and didn’t even know Jonathan was kang until he popped out that elevator.

He Who Remains is manipulating Loki. He could be the key to building the team that is being referenced in season 2 episode 1 on the recording. You could also go back to the first episode in season 1. That's when Mobius and him are talking about Loki's past. If it wasn't for him the Avengers would not have come together. He is destined to lose, but brings out the best in others. He Who Remains is using him to form a team to fight his variants.

Yes I’ve been saying something similar to this. I think HWR knew a LOKI in his past that came to him from the end of time and told him how it all ends. So now it has to happen again. I also suspect that a LOKI and HWR may have been friends at some point. He calls Loki “buddy” while talking in the citadel. He told Loki just enough of the blueprint to relay to a younger Kang. Now Loki is picking up the rest of the info at the TVA. Once a Kang variant gets his hands on that TVA book then he can really conquer.

Was doing my own watch through of episode 6 right before this to refresh myself, and it just struck me how the repaired nature of the citadel at the end of the time is really, really similar to how the TVA repaired the floor that was damaged by the truck sequence in 2x01. I wonder, since the TVA apparently does actually have an internal timeline, could the citadel be what remains of the TVA at the end of it's own internal timeline? Excited to see if you guys noticed this too

Best MCU DisneyPlus Finale and best episode of Season 1. Great writing, payoff and set up for Season 2 And Kang. Majors crushes it and can't wait for Timely. Loving Season 2 and can't wait for the rest. Hope to get Hemsworth's Thor, Grant's Loki, Alligator Loki, Deadpool And Phil.

I don’t think we’ve seen the last of this Kang. In the comics Kang doesn’t move through the timeline in a linear way. If anything, this event is what created that version of Kang that we saw in Season 1.

The 4th statue is most likely the kang we meet in quantumania, he said they banished him, and we see the main three of the council before we see the rest as they mention he was killed, and how one of them wanted to do it according to one of the others, they most likely banished him before he who remains one

I’m looking at the scene that was mentioned with Loki and Sylvie sitting down and you described the crack. I think you didn’t go far enough. The crack was their timeline together. The lines were split, intermingled, went through a maze area that could’ve been technology or just conflict from the outside, and then split back into 2 separate lines in opposing directions. 18:07

I always thought the broken statue was a reference to the past multiversal war to when the other 3 kangs sent Kang the Conqueror to the quantum realm and (immortus, rama tut, and scarlet centurion)

I believe this is the moment the the MCU went wrong. He Who Remains needed to be on the big screen he is the key to everything. The Infinity saga ended with a movie about the Main Villain. But phase 4 could have started with it

I don't know why no one mention how HWR asked Sylvie if he could trust Loki like he knew they would fight at the end and also he placed that tempad carefully on that spot like he knew Sylvie would take it... I honestly think he lied about reaching the threshold and not knowing what's going to happen next

I'd see noreason for him to lie about that. He didn't care which outcome in resulted. He sewed the seeds for both outcomes but didn't know which one would happen

Even if he no longer knew for sure, he still knew everything about those two. Meaning he could still make a pretty damn good guesses. I'm sure he wanted at least one of those two to end up with his tempad. And I think the tempad was preprogrammed to make a Loki who first uses it, to timeslip.

In Loki season 2. We don't know if that was he who remains in the recording. It could be another Kang talking. That's the problem like in Rick and Morty we don't know if we are watching OUR Rick or another Rick. We don't know if that's he who remains or another Kang

I think that Kang variant is He who remains but in that past the tva is not focusing on loki's but someone else. I think they are focusing on someone else because he who remains is on a search to find a successor. That is why mobiuos didn't recognize loki, maybe.

I just realised since we know Loki was in a past TVA the branching is also happening in the past, yet obviously when Loki first arrived in the TVA it was all pruned, so unless it becomes all pruned in this point of the timeline, we now have a paradox

Let me get this out before the last two episodes. Renslayer is a Kang variant in the MCU. That’s my theory. They met like Loki and Sylvie fell in love then he erased her memories to preserve control. Now Loki and Sylvie are headed towards the same conclusion.

I definitely don't think Sylvie was destined to kill HWR. He says himself they crossed the threshold and even he doesn't know how it plays out. And his clearly very sincere in that moment, actually surprised by it. I think they were in a moment not predetermined

Not sure if this has been discussed but what if at the end of quantumania the council of kangs are referring to HWR as the exiled version of kang being killed (possibly same kang but at a different point in time)
