Significant advantages Large rear opening Air penetration coefficient compared to others - Vast possibilities for interior organization The big drawback, is the weight, 2500 Pounds 1344 Kg too heavy for light trucks

Looks like there is a lot of fat that can be cut off that thing like the stupid rack that dose not even protect the forward most solar panels from branches

Did I miss something? How do you not have, or at least offer an enclosed head with shower (wet bath) at that price? As someone who spent years on the road living out of a truck camper. I wouldn't consider anything without that option. Beautiful camper otherwise.

@@patrick35400 I spend enough time in a shower to get clean, as should everyone. People like to pretend that you are not a "real outdoorsman" if you have a toilet and shower... that's a joke. Go wipe your A$$ with dirt if you want. I will always take the clean route. Take a look at a Northern Lite, or Bigfoot camper and you will see what I mean. They will last the life of your truck.

There is a temp shower addition in the middle aisle towards the rear of the camper next to the doors. If the Icarus 8 doesn't offer it, one could combine a Loopz endless shower with the box current basin of the Endless shower system from Australia (I have this and I use the Overland sponge system with it in my tent for motocross kids racing weekends). If I I had the Icarus 8, I would use the hot water from the tap to full the Loopz endless shower system, which includes the UV filter. This would preserve the house water and instead you would have a much longer shower vs a navy shower in a wet bath.

Seriously, it's a short bed camper. Do you really need a phone app to turn lights on and off? A switch isn't that hard to reach.

You could be driving and forgot to turn off the lights or stopping somewhere for the kids to go pee but your wife steps out of the truck to help the kids while you remain in the driver's seat on a busy road. Four people could be sleeping and you don't want to step over anyone to flick the light switch or a kid gets up at night to use the toilet and you're in a sleeping bag but phone is next to you. All circumstances I have experienced in an overland tent camping at motocross tracks for my kids racing.
