Loklik Cutting Machine...trying the Print then Cut function

This is my first time to own a cutting machine, recently bought it during the 9.9 Lazada sale. I couldn't find any detailed tutorials, so, it took me days to figure out how to use the print then cut function without using the built-in svg files in the LOklik Idea studio because I want to make stickers using downloaded png files. Haven't tried it yet with the vinyls and other materials, which is my next thing to learn. I'm happy to have this cutting machine which I got for a very discounted price with lots of freebies too.

Hi, DId you try to print a sticker and put a photo top before feeding it to cutter? does the cutter recognize the registration marks?

Yes, I put invisible tape on the registration marks.

Thanks for the video! Do you know how to save the file with the images? as I get an error saying ensure all layers are svg and it won’t let me save. Thanks in advance!

I can't save it too because the app can only save svg layers. Hopefully, on the next updates of the ideastudio that will be included 🙏. Anyway, I'm glad you liked this video 🥰🥰 i have other loklik videos that might be useful to you. Thank you so much 👍😊

Wait - did you PRINT using this machine or were the prints created elsewhere like on a bespoke printer?

I printed it with hp printer, the Loklik ideastudio can connect to the installed printers in your computer.

Tanong po. pwd po ba gumamit ng Photo paper sa loklik . kaka order lang kasi pero hindi pa dumadating x ano po iseset sa settings pag photo paper glossy po ang ika cut? tapos yong sa callibration ba ordinary paper lang ginamit po?

Pwede po photopaper depende sa thickness po, you can use the cardstock preset po ng loklik tapos yung blue blade po ang gagamitin. Adjust the pressure setting according to the media na gagamitin mo, trial and error lang po hanggat makuha mo na ung tamang depth ng cut na gusto mo. Plain paper lang po ang gagamitin during calibration, just follow the onscreen instruction. If ma receive nyo na po ang unit perform firmware update po agad para malaman nyo if may defect o wala ang unit because the latest software update ng loklik is suitable lang po ang print then cut function sa mga machine na updated to latest firmware.

Hello ask ko lng po, im using an android ver ng idealstudio on may tablet but no printer icon kaya hindi ako makapag print directly and hindi din ako makapag import ng png , need pa nya naka svg

For cutting lang po ang android version, walang print then cut function.

hello i just bought mine this 12.12 hahaha ask ko lang po is there a way i can expand the print marks area? para ma maximize nya yung paper sticker? medyo nanghihinayang ako kasi ang laki ng margin nya hehehe .

Yan din yung concern ko, i wrote a comment about that sa loklik official page na anlaki ng space na nasasayang sa whole page ng sticker paper. Sana they will include that sa future software updates nila na pwede nating i adjust ang print marks according to our paper. Let's just hope na they will give us this option soon 😄

@rmloyola7021 updated na po ba ang loklik ideastudio to latest version? Then perform the machine calibration po to correct misaligned cuts. Comment again lang po if it improved or not.

@@user-le5jo6se4b eto po ang mga ginawa ko to somehow improve the alignment, i made sure na pantay po ang ang paglagay ko ng papel sa mat as in swak sa linya tapos pantay din ang pag feed ng mat kung minsan kase eh medyo tabingi and every mm can make a difference sa cutting. I performed several times ang cutting calibration para makita ko kung saan ang consistent na value dun sa mga lines. I got better results sa cutting when i use the offset function sa loklik ideastudio. If you want to try meron po akong video on using the offset which I find better and useful when i make kiss cut stickers with small details.
