WOW.... I totally missed that!! So, David Bowie. Now that I read your comments it is so obvious....MAJOR Lady for Major Tom. The different color eyes, the hair color. The eye makeup...although that's a little more KISS. It's so funny how I will see KISS before I see anything else. Also should note that I was not into Bowie much. Thought the Ziggy days were cool, and I think he's a legend, but he isn't what KISS, Queen, Cher, Van Halen and others were for me as a kid. But I will admit to feeling incredibly stupid and wanting to redo the whole video, but that's not how I roll :-)

It’s all good! We all have our tastes growing up! To be fair, i only saw david bowie because he was the first fashion icon i knew that rocked being androgynous and would wear dresses, skirts, makeup and heels fairly often. I knew him more as an actor to films i enjoyed more than his music. so i don’t deny that it is a little left field. lol ngl, he would probably rock that outfit and makeup if he were around today.

It's fine. Its like how I saw and still see Rocker Boi as Ozzy. But others would see Blackie from WASP or some other rock icon with that kind of hair and style. And how some saw Speedster as some famous female racer, while others, including me, saw RuPaul. Sometimes what's obvious to most, might not be as obvious to others, bc of what we grew up with. Also, I pretty much only know Bowie as an actor too. He was a great actor. Labyrinth is a masterpiece with amazing music and lyrics. The eye make up does look a bit similar to that of Kiss, but the big giveaway is probably how colorful major lady is. Kiss is known for their black and white look. And it covered the whole face obviously. I think L.O.L did a great job capturing the Bowie essence in this doll

She is 100% David Bowie, by way of Lady Gaga doing David Bowie at the 2016 Grammy’s. The teal and pink refer to Bowie’s Aladdin Sane cover, as do the lightening bolts. Her two toned eyes are also a Bowie homage (even though his eyes were not actually two different colors). The black and white side of her outfit refers to one of Bowie’s Ziggy era outfits, made by a Kansai Yamamoto. Even her name, Major Lady, is in reference to Major Tom from Space Oddity.

I really want this 1 because I love David Bowie. My daughter hopes they make Purple Queen omg (Prince). My daughter thank goodness loves any omg from glitterati clubs. I love the star sunglasses (my daughter tends to put sunglasses on top of their heads) and her earrings. I love her pants they make me think of Elton John. I think the teal might be because of the matching tot. Very true in person is always like oooh and wow over pictures but I definitely enjoy Instagram people take some amazing pictures of dolls & toys.

I need this doll just for the red hair and the heterochromia. And I like the high ponytail and the blue and black outfit. And I know people have already complained about the boots from the promo pic reactions, but she would look amazing in silver or black ankle boots or pumps in place of the orange boots. I feel that the neon orange and the teal colors don't fit into her outfit as well as the other dolls' use of brighter colors in their color schemes. Other than that one issue, she's gorgeous.

Wow love this doll she has an awesome outfit and hair, she reminds me of David Bowie, I don't know much about Donna Summer but have heard a few of her songs. Agree the teal colour on the Cape would have looked better in blue or black to match the outfit. She looks amazing. The dance disc thing is an interesting idea and works well. 😍💖

I had hubby & my dad check 2 Walmart’s in Canada, couldn’t find Spicy Babe or sweets so I googled them & found a link that let me pre order Spicy Babe but it says she won’t be released in April so I think some Walmart’s have made a mistake 🤷🏼‍♀️

I remember we got cable in 1978 and it was no remote. H.B.o.Started at 700 am and ended at 1am . Years later by the time remotes came the one I had wasn't attached to the t.v .
