A bit of Haribo trivia. The name "Haribo" is a syllabic abbreviation formed from Hans Riegel Bonn. Hans Riegel Jr. founded Haribo and was from Bonn, Germany. So now you know what Haribo means!

Okay... Haribo is a German company. The correct way to say it is HAR-E-BOW. The English "I" is pronounced "E" in German. "H" is pronounced with a more "HA" sound.
