Billboard is very shady with Madonna.took days before the official channel uploaded madonna's speech. They change chart rules when new madonna songs get released. They also make a lot of articles when she "flops", but when other artists do less good than her, they ignore it. On the other hand they give her this award so SOME people there like her. But trust me, they are weird and two faced with M lol lol

OMG this unedited version is even more powerful than the one Billboard uploaded! Why did they chose to cut her words about gay community and AIDS crisis back in the 80's??? It is so important to a new generation to know all these things! I swear to God, this woman has done so much for us and they couldn't extent their video on their youtube channel so it's actually a full and complete speech??? She is so brave and I have no words to express my admiration to Madonna. She is truly one of a kind and noone can come even close to what she has achieved.

One thing nobody can take away from Madonna is her authenticity, her honesty and her integrity. I've been following her since 1983 when I first heard her on the radio, her voice just stood out, her tunes were catchy and danceable. When I first saw her on MTV I thought that girl has got something and yet girlfriends of mine at the time were not impressed, as were many of the general public and the church in Ireland. I loved her boldness, her rebellious streak and her ability to shock, I could see what she was doing, tongue in cheek, sassy, sexy, gorgeous and talented, with a huge drive and determination. Every boyfriend I dated hated her, bar one. I would argue her case and tell them that they were being prudish and boring, even belting out her tunes to further annoy them hee hee. Madonna is a soul sister to women all over the world, women who have had to put up with abuse, women who were made to feel like second class citizens, women who were without a voice. Madonna was that voice and she still is that voice. She is a true artist, very emotionally intelligent and is here to make her point, through her art and leave her mark. Thank you Madonna for your inspiration and your creation. I feel like I know you as many others no doubt will feel the same. Your art speaks a thousand words and more

What an amazing, accomplished, intellectual and inspiring human being Madonna is to women and men globally! It astounds me that people, still to this day, (34 years later) comment that she's either A) over B) not talented C) irrelevant D) old or whatever ignorant banter comes spilling out of their mouths...this strong and independent living legend who has broken every rule and record on the books has proven them wrong with each passing year! She truly has nothing to prove to them, you or I or even herself anymore at this point, because her legacy speaks for itself for many years and possibly centuries to come! What a beautiful & brave speech from a beautiful & brave woman!!!!

Thank goodness I saw the full speech. TMZ (that nest of vipers) have a headline stating Madonna Boasts About Outliving Michael, Whitney and Prince, then they play that brief segment where Madonna says they're all gone but she's still standing. Talk about twisting her words for a headline, but I'd expect no less from the likes of them. Great, powerful speech. Thanks for posting.

Thank you so much Lola (and the other fan who shot this) for doing justice to one of the most powerful acceptance speeches of all time. Wow. It’s quite extraordinary to listen to this speech. Because everything she said is true. Whoever is old enough to remember what she constantly has been true.... I mean as long as I remember the media and the people always had something wrong to say about her and yet she was creating the pop blueprint for the entire industry. What an amazing career, a catalogue of songs no one can have in the future, a performer that has been putting so much into her tours, reinventing herself and her hits and choreo, a artist with opinions she is never afraid to express. I mean really no other female artist can relate. She’s witty, often ironic, she never played the phony and shallow game of the media and yet she has been a legend breaking all kind of records. The Queen Of Pop 👑🔥❤️

After almost 3 years later this speech is still the best from her to me, she said it everything and this FULL VERSION is much more powerful and make the story better, because is complete without stupid editing and cutting one of the most important parts! What the fuck was wrong with Billboard to cut such a beautiful speech? Maybe they don't like Madonna very much but at least if you're giving an Award to someone who is the Queen of Pop, the best female recording artist of all time, you can RESPECT that person. That's all she needed, support. She said it so many things which I didn't know about her, and God and she only know how many things happen in between. I love that she is totally honest, she is a bit ironic but between the lines there is the truth. Naked and bare, she is saying what she did it, how she did it, and how much effort, time, energy, sweat and tears you need to put into something to create it so that thing can exist and after all, there are those people trying to bring her down! Why? She never stole anything, she does not hurt anybody, she is just speaking her mind! And expressing her point of view of the world and life in general! One of the best things about this speech is that she put it her whole life and career into it, and yet it sounds a little bit tragic and traumatic. She is still here, let's celebrate that she is STILL ALIVE, many great artists died but I'm glad she survived every storm on her way. Long live the Queen!

Thanks Lola very much for sharing the awesome video. Just want to be 120% sure, so you shot the cell phone video yourself and it is the full speech (the resolution is a bit low so I just want to hear you confirming it)? Frankly I'm really thrilled to hear the speech in the way Madonna delivered it. Based on your video, the various textual "transcript" I read online have missed quite a lot (e.g. her daughter was mentioned but none of the transcripts had that). And the Billboard video looks more and more like it was edited out of sequences now, on top of its beeping censorship! P.S. No wonder I read headlines of Internet Archive Moving To Canada Over Censorship Fears. #fail #madness
