I don't think Fiora is a counter as much as people think. It's totally a outsmarting matchup. On the other hand Malphite matchup is unplayable. Naayil says it himself.

Yes you are very right, irelia is much harder than fiora matchup because even if you dodge her E and do stuff right she still can kill you easily.

Well as fiora player i can say thay good fiora knows to not use W if Aatrox didnt use E. Simple as that. Its very skillful matchup and the person who gets lead first is winning hard and can stomp the lane. Its kinda disgusting because 1 mistake cost you game. Also aatrox needs tabi before completing first item. I cant ofc write all details of this matchup in one comment but good fiora shouldnt have any problems against good aatrox.

Nobody talking about Kled? The only reason it's not his perma ban is Kled playrate, i would pick irelia or fiora everyday instead of Kled, but the same as him, i always either ban fiora or irelia cause it's way more likely to be seen. However, this MU might the worst experience of counter match up i ever experienced in LoL, it's crazy how impossible it is to win against him. you can't outpush him as you have no right to cs early game, and once he has cleave it's over, you can't outroam him as his ult will allow him to crash the wave and be there in time, and winning a 1v1 is really hard since he can force an engage whenever he wants, can easily dodge your sweet spot and get out of your W, and since he naturally outdps you, you can't hold 3rd Q for when he is dismounted, so you end up with nothing left to kill him and he often get to remount for free.

He's also the first one who used eclipse post durability patch when everyone else was stuck on Goredrinker. You could say he's the reason why DRX Aatrox is a thing.

He does evenshroud when he knows he's getting focused a lot, which was happening a lot when he was climbing in EU since he was so well known. Since the mythic passive gives him a lot of passive resistances, he ends up very tanky even when building more damage focused. An Evenshroud's CC-damage boost also means he's still doing a ton of damage since it amps his own damage as well.

The Q E W > corner Q2 is a guaranteed Q3 as long as the enemy doesn't flash or dash out. If they try to dodge to the side, they get hit by the W and then get pulled into Q3. If they run towards Aatrox, he still hits them with the normal damage and still follows up with Q3. If they run away from Aatrox they don't have enough time to get away from him and they get pulled into the Q3.

The nerf meant that doesnt happen anymore, he needs 200 ad to break even with the pre change q damage. Hash was talking about the numbers with the initial buff which had 20% extra ad ratio. Now its 10%. Hes weaker than he was before his buff at mythic purchase.

Somewhat preference as they are multiple opinions that wastly differ. Naayil is actually also a real big fan of Evenshroud as it is cheap, the damage Amp is useful and easy to apply and gives both defensive Stats. Or at least he used to build it quite frequently. Has been a while since i last checked in on his stream.

Full damage -> Duskblade Damage with a bit of survivability -> Eclipse (the shield also lets you tank tower shots when diving) Against ranged top/heavy AD -> Iceborn (you can Cleaver rush if you don't need the slow) If you can't carry at all -> Evenshroud support playstyle If you don't want to win -> Goredrinker *Death's Dance is not a good item -> Only build it against heavy AD if you didn't build Iceborn.
