G2's early game, macro and laning phase all improved to the point they are actually same lvl or even better in this serie than east. Mid game also improved but t1 showed experience patience and better teamfights in the end. Caps and yike proved they are same lvl or even better than their counterparts (here both were better than faker and oner), bb hans mikyx still need to improveva little. Especially hans needs to work on his positioning during teamfights because him getting caught was mainly reason G2 were losing teamfights in mid game

saying it improved to be same or better is actually trash. makes no sense. adjusting to your thought it would mean that G2 would be A: a MSI favorite which they are not. B: mean they win against the east easily which they didn't and continuesly won't. C: yike is garbage compared to any proper east jungler just as brokenbrain is to any half decent toplaner from the east. G2 has sooo much under construction to improve on that it really is very unlikely probablity to see them at that stage even get out of quarters at worlds :)

G2 played really well there score are look same like t1 and great ganks but they dont have that much experience on team fights like T1 a high experience Clan u could see how diff on team fight T1 plays they really keep 4 of them alive on 5v5

Yes, this is sad 😔 Top gaps are insane between Asian teams and the rest of the world. But also adcs… let’s be honest, HansSama positioning is always bad, whether he has 5k gold lead or not, he’s always an easy target for enemies… meanwhile, imagine Guma with 5k gold lead, then you can already set your plans for next game

To me it seems that g2 just got outplayed in strategy / preparation / team fights. Individually g2 didn't play bad. But I've only watched these highlights so could be wrong.. If I was caps I would consider going to an Lck or LPL team

@@B055C0E I mean it happens in other sports right? For example in soccer, the best clubs are in Europe and the best players come from all over the world to play there. I think in lol there are barriers preventing this, e.g. worse player conditions and salaries on average in the east compared to the west, which makes it less likely that even very talented players in the west would want to make a career there. But in principle it could happen. I'd like to see the best western players compete in lck and lpl, although it would be a sad for the western scene

Dude played Jax vs Camille which is said to be the best counter and unplayable match-up for Camille, yet he was useless. Then he played Jax vs Rumble, he got 2-0 lead from the start only to be… useless again?

As always in international competitions, G2 being too much confident, fanboys pretending G2 is way too good for LEC but still getting diffed by a team not even in the top 3 teams of the competition.

Poor Caps man he played som good. Top and jungle gap were too much to handle. Especialy top. Zeus completely won the first two games and i dont know how in the 3rd he can get killed twice and 2-3 minutes later he is up 25cs and one lvl. Also in the first totally crushed the top counter pick.

G2 had 1 close loss against the world champions, won 1 series against a minor region team, and won 1 series against a chinese team that had been struggling even in play-ins already and people thought they were going to win MSI. In the end, concerning tournament results I was right once again. Although I'll admit that G2, contrary to my expectation, have FINALLY improved their terrible early game. That's progress, but they still have a way to go.
