Islington Green, London, N1 - Driver of a flatbed truck turning left collides with a carpet truck which was reversing onto the main road (Upper Street). Not many fancy tools for extrication in those days !

Must be at least Summer 84, not '83.... The LFB C Div were one of the last to change from the old Escape carrying machines to the 'new' Dennis SS... ther eis also an ADO's Maestro parked up, there were 'B Reg' which also puts it around 84/85. The sound of that engine when Kingsland's Pump arrives brings back some nice memories. ;-)

You must be young :-) .........in the 1980's it was Road Traffic Accident (RTA) - it was only when lawyers argued that nobody could be liable in an 'accident' sometime in the 2000's that they changed the expression from RTA to RTC (Road Traffic Collision).
