Ive known of this man for about a year and a half. Last year i was homeless and sleeping in a tent in the woods. All i had was booze and some downloaded youtube videos. This man got me through so much, and means so much to me. Im facing homelessness again, living in the traphouse again. I just had a feeling i needed to see how Marv was doing, and lo and behold here he is again, changing my life again. Love ya man, stay strong. I know ill try. ❤

We all end up in the same place in the end my friend. Just don't let the struggle beat you down on the way there. You're strong and despite what those demons tell you, you can do better, stand proud man

It's very humbling to listen to Marv. He's had a harder life than 99.9% can comprehend. He's done things so awful that most can't grasp it! But he's now on the upslope in life. He's changed his life 180⁰. Giving everything back to try help others. He's trying to help the young tear aways realise what's in store if they don't get a grip of life. Well done Marv 👍

As far as I'm concerned Marvin is a quality guy who has survived in a tough world and he's hear to teach us to not get involved in that life. A generous geezer still.

Marvin’s dad has caused so much damage to him. Every angry, violent father should watch a Marvin interview. I treat my kids as good as I can. They go to fighting classes to learn to fight, not through me beating the crap out of them!

Watching Marvin’s interviews has the same feel as watching Vietnam vets interviews, they break down with the trauma and guilt despite the fact they’d of shown unimaginable courage they can’t get over the damage done

You can see that though his father did some terrible, despicable things, there's a emotional tenderness to Marvin when he questioned why he endured abuse from his father. Many hate parents who have hurt or violate them and there's just cause, yet there is still something profound to love and forgive and still long for relationship and reconciliation...
