Marvin is a boxing coach, a personal trainer and an inspirational peer mentor. An ex-offender with 21 convictions for 76 offences beginning when he was 13, he renounced his criminal lifestyle after he was shot multiple times by a member of a British drugs gang in a daylight attack in Marbella.
“At that specific moment in my life I realised that my existence had been pointless and meaningless. I decided that because I was fortunate to be kept alive, I would have to change dramatically. Not just for myself but for my kids, to guarantee that they had me in their lives for years to come.”
Marvin now works closely with schools and young people, sharing his story to inspire his students to think twice before going down the road that he did.

I agree 100% about inentionality back in the day. Nowadays social media has changed so much, back in the day we had time to think over our actions, parents nowadays are facing more erratic challenges as our kids our. There are so many more risks the youngsters are growing up facing. Parents need to keep up with these new fangled risks. We are equal to this task and the youngsters coming up in hard times will be ok with us setting good examples. We set the example for them to follow. Great pod cast.

Iv got loads of mates I speek to that iv had fights with one of my mates lost half his year but we get on great now no problem or bad blood we go drinking and out hunting on weekends he's become one of my bestest friends so I can relate to what marvin is saying about becoming friends with people we use to fight with 👍👍

@@DMCDAILY that's true it sounds mad but they do we where all mad in are younger days I got stabbed in my right arm by a boy from another astate and we were big enomes heated each other big time but now we speak and drink together and there is no bad blood everything is cool what it is we all grow up and stupid things that would have made us mad in are younger days don't seem werth it now and we have nothing to prove we've been there done that got the scars to prove it now its just time to enjoy life and keep are kids safe and out off trouble 👍
