Seems better than what we have here in Sydney, Australia, only the state-owned bus company (Sydney Buses) has bus stop announcements, they don't even announce the route name nor number, and then only on the NEWER buses. the contract bus companies have announcements on some of their newer buses but they only say things like "Next Stop Requested" and "School flashers on", no bus stop names whatsoever! It really annoys me!
