so far i've learned, it's the night life, the free museums, entertainment, the diversity, the places to go to and somehow the food that makes london altogether a nice place....and it's the tube, traffic, crimes, pollution, the crowd, and the busy unfriendly people (?) that makes a disadvantage. I just love the vids! i hope more are coming..... :->

I enjoyed this series....Cheers! However, I think it should continue with showing the ethnic parts of London, like Brixton, Southall or Wembley. I live in the south east of England (Deal, near Dover), but when I go to London, I mostly enjoy to go to Wembley Central, to the indian community, visit that awesome temple (Ealing Broadway) and have some proper south indian food (go to Salkonis, eat the Masala Dosas!). London is the most cosmopolitan City in the world and I love it!

I've just thought of another thing, (or should I say "annuvvah fing") what a lot of folk "dahn my old way" do. A lot of us also use the word "me" in place of the word "my", in certain instances, where it fits, and a lot of us also use "us" to mean "me", in some instances. For example: ("Me" in place of "My"): "I'm orf 'a see me bruvvah again this wee'gend", (and "Us" in place of "Me"): "'Allo, darlin'. Give us a kiss!" That's how I'D say both them sentences- ("Them" in place of "Those!)

As I've read on the comments, most of you guys say something like ''none was a proper Londoner''.So,here's my answer.London is not just a city,it's a great area which is formed by several little towns such as Blackpool, one of the towns that have been mentioned in the vid. It's really funny, because there're a lot of people who think being a Londoner means you live right under the Big Ben tower or right next to the Buckingham palace, and that's not true. Please everyone, check a map.

The last speaker is English, but is difficult to place, as he has quite a soft accent. I'd say he's probably from the midlands, possibly Birmingham or Coventry. I'm a Londoner, born & bred.

In response to the guys talking about the problems with not talking to anyone. I think many people are focused on doing what they aim to do but also it's such a huge city there's not much point in trying to get on with a random stranger, you're not at all likely to see them again.

i think he did say "nothing" but sort of scoffed it out so it ended up sounding like "noffing", but his accent didn't sound like a working class accent, so it's hard to say.

Not all. My Aunt's from Hackney- ("That's Hackney, dear, not 'Ackney!" Ha-ha!), and she's really posh. She's always pulling me up on the way I talk. She used to try and have me saying stuff like: "How now, brown cow?" and "There's thirty thousand feathers in a thrush's throat", and she'd get really annoyed when I said: "'Aah naah, braahn caah?" and "There's fur'ee faahsan' fevvahs in a frush's froa'." Ha-ha!
