The Grand Parade celebrating the Spring Festival features the largest gathering of Chinese Lions and Dragons in Europe, as well as seven traditional hand-crafted floats given to London Chinatown by the People’s Republic of China. 2020’s Lunar New Year Celebration marks the Year of the Rat 🐭 and is organised by London Chinatown Chinese Association.

@@WatchedWalker I totally messed up, thought the parade was on Sat, doh..!! Got to see all the Lion dancing and crowds though, got some good footage. Was busy today so gave it a miss

My guess is that there aren't many Chinese people in England/London. In the NYC every borough except bronx and staten island had a huge population of Chinese celebrating the New Year.

I am scottish - Just a bit strange seeing a all brown non white bag pipe band playing in London - Truly London is not Britain anymore - A multicultural bubble attached to britain

That's because you're Scottish and aren't used to living in a large, diverse city. You also probably don't have much money to travel a lot and experience different cultures if something as simple as a Chinatown parade in one of the most diverse cities in the world is weird to you.
