Join me on a journey from London to Scotlands capital - Edinburgh.

This brings back memories of trVell8ng on overnight Scottish Citylink services from London to Glasgow and Edinburgh, wonderful journeys especially seeing the sun rise over the Debateable Lands and the Southern Uplands.

Gosh watching these reminds me of all the times I used to do them from Newcastle to London and back to visit family down there. I can cope with the night coach but the day ones can be a bit much. I used take my sandwich, crisps and drink and chocolate bar with me when I used to do it 😂😂😂.

The bus does save money, but the train is still more comfortable. You can weigh the pros and cons again after using the discount.

Enjoyed the video and what a great price. Felt sorry for you having to use the underground on a very hot day.i think i would have used thameslink to herne hill then herne hill to Victoria both trains being air conditioned 😊

Any chance could you plot the route in Google Earth? Only you say let's look at the route when in reality it's the two coach stations. Keep up the good work 👍

40 years after the summer of 1976 you’d think that 23 years into the 21st century London as a world city would have better air con these days including tube stock. Heatwaves are not uncommon.

It's a hot, sticky day, and you took the Victoria Line? Ouch. That looked like a relatively painless ride up to Edinburgh. Could you stretch your legs a few times?

These short nights are very disorientating aren't they - you got to Newcastle in broad daylight but still had 2 hours or so to go!

Which is better going by coach from London to Edinburgh or going by train or flying to Edinburgh. I’m not that keen on coach trips but I have been on several trips before on the coach.

Hi mate, thanks for watching - appreciated. I'd go for the train all day long city centre to city centre, coach travel is very long and airports mean transfers.

Indeed, overall I feel that the train is a good choice, but the price is a bit high, so be sure to take advantage of the discount!
