Quick tip, 4/5g internet is a lot cheaper in the UK compared with the US. You can literally pick up a sim card for a 1 month contract for about £10 that will have 30gb of internet so please don't pay your US provider for its international roaming as it will be much more expensive than just grabbing a sim here. You can get them at the airport, at a phone shop or at many local grocery stores 😊

@YouAreJel
@YouAreJel 5 ай бұрын
@@Thaleya1 I've never heard of any tourist SIM cards like they have in some countries that only last a few days (I could be wrong) so I think your best bet is just see what they have at the airport. I think unlimited is overkill I would be shocked if you use more than 10gb in 4days, you'd have to be constantly watching 4k movies and i can't imagine you come all the way to London to do that 😅 maybe just get 2 SIM cards and hotspot each other if you think you won't all go separate ways

Peter Pan is 120 years old and landed well before Disney. I think there are least two statues of the character in London, and the copyright for Peter Pan was donated by its author to the Great Ormand Street Hospital. It is a London hospital that is entirely devoted to sick children. An act of parliament was passed to extend copyright for the hospital some years ago, which may only apply in the UK, but I believe it is still a tradition for use of the book in theatres etc. around the world to make a donation to the hospital

As a Brit living in Toronto I would say the protocol for walking in public areas is to use common sense and not walk or bump into other people .There is no correct side but instead politely give as much room to pass others well in advance . And not walk right into someone else's parhway and at the very last second move which people tend to do here, like a game of chicken.

Hi, Great video, no silly background music, am pleased you had great weather so unusual in London. The underground has been improved a lot in the last 30 years, but there’s more to do, in particular the heat problem, which is caused by clay around the tunnels, nothing holds heat like clay , TFL will eventually sort this out. What is holding things back, is the cost overruns of the new Elizabeth line, so I hope you all enjoyed your stay here regards. JH

There's no right or left in Europe on the pavements - too crowded. You just kinda swerve at the last second. The walk on the left (or right) signs were for social distancing in the pandemic. A lot haven't yet been removed, but you no longer need to pay heed. Also London is THE theatre capital in the world, there are over 1 million theatre seats in the city -almost as many as stadium seats (which is also a record breaker).

Observations and facts: 1) Big mistake not booking a hotel going to the most visited city in the world which gets 20 million tourists a year. 2) Those newer red buses (not the tourist ones) cost each as much as a Bugatti Veyron. 3) Piccadilly Circus is not the Times Square of London - it came first. Times Square is the Piccadilly Circus of New York. 4) You don’t need to buy a card or ticket to use the public transport. Just touch your bank card or iPhone on the barrier and it will charge you the cheapest fare for any given journey. 5) The West End (London’s theatre district) has 22 more theatres than New York’s Broadway. The largest theater on Broadway (Gershwin Theatre) seats 1933. The largest one in London (London Colosseum) seats 2,359. The second largest in London (London Palladium) seats 2,286.

Great facts! Love #3 and #5. We are used to booking hotels last minute, maybe London is not the best city to do that, although we lucked out with the Hard Rock. Too bad they rebranded that property, hope it is still as good. Next time we will try to pay for the tube with our phones, that seems a lot simpler as long as the kids have a card on their phone also. Cheers, good info!
