3 жыл бұрынRepped by Gilles Peterson, RBMA, Sounds of The Universe and many more, rising mega-talent Emma-Jean Thackray wears many musical hats. As a composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist, singer, bandleader and DJ, she is just as at home working with the London Symphony Orchestra as she is hosting her show on Worldwide FM or tearing it up on trumpet with her quartet.
From her solo releases 'Ley Lines' on The Vinyl Factory and acclaimed 'Walrus' EP, she maintains her trajectory as one of the most talented young musicians in the jazz scene.
This stream performance, filmed at London's Total Refreshment Centre, is an exclusive set featuring tracks from the releases of Um Yang, Rain Dance EP, her recent Blue Note reimagined track and a rework of the Chicago-house-classic 'Brighter Days' from Cajmere & Dajae

everything I s cool , music, arrangements, feeling ....voice , she could control more the notes, intention is fine, but sometimes she go a little bit out of tune, but I like her , she's great

And so what if she was homeless? What’s that got to do with music? And what has anyone’s domicile situation got to do with making music? Of all the comments I’ve read here, yours has got to be the most ignorant, stupid and nonsensical. Your comment infers that homeless people can’t possibly make (good) music and/or the way that someone dresses is an indicator of their ability to make (good?) music. I’m sure if they’ve got good hair and wear conventional clothing they MUST make good music, surely? Right? Ridiculous. Do you generally judge music by what a musician/artist wears?
