Lonely Road Iceland, Episode 06 - ALL'S WELL THAT ENDS WELL
Lonely Road heads off from London to Iceland for an overland expedition on a KTM 890 Adventure. Episode 6 and we're following the national ring road along Iceland's gorgeous southeast coast on the way back to Seydisfjordur and the ferry. It's a wet and windy ride, but the scenery (when you can see it) is stunning. On the way, we check out some glaciers and hug the epic coastal road.

Magnifique partage. Je vais m’inspirer de tes vidéos pour mon road trip en Iceland en juillet prochain. Pourrais-tu faire un dernière vidéo pour nous donner des détails pratiques comme par exemple quelle appli pour tracer tes parcours, quel budget pour ton essence, hôtel, billet bateau… qu’est-ce que tu changerais si tu devais refaire ce voyage, quels endroits ne valent finalement pas la peine et au contraire où tu aurais aimé passer plus de temps… Merci

Merci pour la suggestion. Je suis actuellement en Amérique du Sud pour le tournage de la saison 2 de Lonely Road, donc je n'aurai pas le temps de faire d'autres vidéos islandaises pour l'instant. Thank you very much for your nice trip videos. I have my ticket to Iceland this mid June, I would like to ask you: a) you are using a Garmin, I presume a Zumo, did you use the European Map provided by Garmin or the specific Iceland's one? ;) b) is there a site other than Vrbo with the guesthouses list? c)do they also provide dining/breakfast? Thanks for the kind words. I have a Garmin Zumo XT, which I used in Iceland. The European map it came with worked absolutely fine. For trip planning, I use MRA Route Planner (www.myrouteapp.com) to create GPX files for use with the Garmin. I'd also recommend map.is to use as reference, as it's much more detailed than Google (only in Icelandic though). For accommodation, I mainly used Booking.com and Expedia. Breakfast depends on the policy of the place you book.
