@@sael5084 "Good" for me means it feels nice aesthetically. In art school you learn what makes art look 'good' for most audiences. Things like dynamic posing, strong silhouette value, texture and mark-making. All of which these sketches have even before being inked or colored. (Hence why I put 'unfinished' in quotations, based on how she presented her favorites, she likes to ink and color before declaring it 'done'.) My favorite piece of advice from one of my drawing professors was that things don't have to be "polished", "photorealistic" or "anatomically correct" to be "good". Technically with art it's only "bad" if it doesn't convey the message or feeling you intended. Plenty of people called Monet's work in impressionism "bad" because back in the day they were used to oil paintings that looked like photographs. But the feeling he intended was more about atmospheric lighting, so it conveyed exactly what he meant it to. But you have to decide what 'feels nice aesthetically' for you personally

I love the spreads with chickens and goats! I live on a farm and we have chickens, ducks, goats, pigs, and rabbits. The rabbits and ducks are my favorite but I'm starting to appreciate how derpy chickens and goats can be

It's gorgeous and she's gorgeous (and my sibling and I regularly joke about being in love with her so I'm biased ok) You are allowed to be a fan of other KZfaqrs! No one finds your fanart for TV shows or movies weird and embarrassing so your fanart of Rachel is no different!! Your art of her is so cute and it really captures her vibes 💜

It's so inspiring the fact that you spend so much of your time and energy making your sketchbooks look great. In the last couple of years I believe I lost this sort of love and dedication to painting traditionally. i came across your account a month or two ago and binge watched a bunch of videos. your art style has always been my dream & i couldn’t believe i found someone who has a similar style but is also entertaining and likeable to watch for hours. and to top it off, you also have an absolute dream of a sketchbook 😩 what little talent i had at art has unfortunately disappeared after taking such a long art break and it’s been really hard getting the motivation back to start learning again- but your videos make me actually want to do art for once. it’s seriously so beautiful & i just want to thank you for posting so much of your art because it’s been really helpful for me and i’m sure many others too 💗

Ya'know, the furry art comment is spot on. I was able to go to college and pay for my books, food, and gas from furry commissions. Non-furry commissioners/ art buyers in general are often SO judgmental when it comes to pricing.

I'm stopping like halfway through the video to comment this, but it's just that it really resonated with me. You talked about feeling like you need to draw more full body poses. I think you did an amazing job at that! And that's actually one of my goals for next year too. I think this sketchbook size is great for that, I'm going to look into buying one that size (if I can find it here in Brazil lol). Mine is A5 and spiral bound and because of that, my drawing space in it is actually quite small, so I end up not drawing a lot of full body poses either, but I really want to get better at that next year. Anyways, sorry for rambling, I'll watch the rest of the tour now lol

You’re so talented and your sketchbook is just the exact vibe I hope to accomplish. I love the eclectic scrapbook vibe intermingled with incredible more intricate pieces as well as bold less intricate but equally wow pieces and then early on that spread of maybe 7 mini landscapes and I’m like wow if I did even one of those it would be on my wall 😂🎉 The sketchbook is brilliant.
