I'm 69 years old and playing in master soccer leagues around Boston. I discovered a talent and desire for goalkeeping at 58. The team I am now on, in the over 63 years league, had a "grand-fathered" goal keeper so when I joined I played in defense or occasionally mid-field. The "grand father" has retired and I will be the goalkeeper this fall (or autumn if you're English) and my adrenaline is way up. I discovered this site and began practicing the goal kick technique in the videos. Results = WOW! Am now kicking beyond midfield and as far as I kicked when I was in my 40s. Thank You for this site!

My goal kicks were crap before this, they barely ever got off the ground, but after watching this video, they are land on the full at halfway, thanks, this helped alot

I watched this video 4 times before my game today and the results were unbelievable. Thank you so much. Its literally gone from the opposite team saying 'press the defence he can't kick' to 'watch out he's got a long kick' in two games honestly it sounds crazy but it's true

Just wanted to say, I used this video with my previous long GK being right at 50 yards, with most hanging in the 40-45 range. When I went and put these techniques to the test, my second ball went 60, and probably 5 of my other 9 went at or above 50 (the other 4 were mis-hits or I didn't get my hips back). So, this video is actually fantastic for improving!

This is so helpful. I've never been able to kick a long ball as far as I've wanted, but this has improved my kicks so much!

Love this video, both in terms of explanation and in terms of the points at which the video is slowed down and the technical aspects of kicking are visibly highlighted. I have a 12 year old daughter who is a very good goalkeeper but who struggles to create the distance required on goal kicks. Will be applying these techniques to training and excited to see how quickly this will help her improve.

Hi! I'm 28 years old and I have been practicing goalkeeping since I was about 8. Yeah in 20 years I was not able to kick a long ball because I always hurt my ankle. This tutorial has taught me a better way to hit the ball, I can kick the ball further now thanks to the technique shown here. I still have a little ache in my ankle but it's getting better every time. Thanks a lot for taking the time to explain it, I really appreciate it. Best regards.
