heck yeah man I played guide for pa opener today for my buddy be cause it was his birthday and I let him shoot first we doubled and his bird was massive 11.5 inch beard and 1 3/4 spurs if I knew it was that big would have never taken my him 😂

Fun hunt! Even at regular speed, dressing a turkey is short work. I’m making wing bone calls from yesterday’s PA bird. You ever try that?

Congratulations, nice bird! I'm new to your channel, and haven't hunted turkey in a few years. Seeing the strutting jake as shield kind of raddled me a bit. My first thought or hope was that you were on private land. Your set up was in the open, so, you'd be able to see or hear other hunters easily. I've hunted private, posted land, and have had other hunters stalk my decoy (s) (I used to position a jake over a squatting hen). Have you ever had any issues with other hunters?

I would never use this technique on public land! The majority of my turkey hunting is done on private land.

I don't use decoys. Never have and never will. Takes away from the true coaxing challenge in my opinion and satisfaction of outsmarting one based on my setup and using terrain in mt favor .., Otherwise nice bird bro congrats!

@@KEO__Vlogs I do enjoy your videos. I was out yesterday in Pa and didn’t hear a gobble. I think the rain had them quiet because I hunt on 500 acres of private property and know they are there. Good Luck in Pa.
