Long Bed Mega Cab Project - Removing the Cabs

Taking the cabs off both the Mega Cab and the Quad Cab Long Bed to expose the frames and prep for the frame splice for the Long Bed Mega Cab.
I realized when putting this video together I say "Anyway" a lot. This was a fairly easy process. Stay tuned for more content in the future and further window switch bezel update information.

Man this why I love these videos because on forum pages they say 4 door long bed is exact same frame as a mega cab short bed which here we can See they are very similar but yet not the exact same now yeah if you was to move cab mounts and a couple other things then you could just use your quad cab frame and do the rear frame section on it that way you would not have to do the front section and the back you’d only have to do one but still nice having videos like this definitely following the build as I have a mega cab but mine is gasoline lol old 5.7 hemi that I am interested in doing long bed swap on but we will see if I do it I will definitely make the dually conversion also but we will see how it goes lolol

Would you happen to know if a single cab, gas 2500, long bed frame would work as a donor? Love the content man I'm about to attempt this myself

There are minor variations in years, but as long as it is a 4WD frame I don’t see why it would not work. The only thing you are keeping as it relates to your cab is the rearmost cab mounts.
