That is so cool to hear! I hope you like your cut :) My main tip is that if it looks a little crazy when you wake up in the morning (mine does every morning) just wet it in the sink and let it air dry while you get ready.

a year ago I got my hair cut super short like that too! it was an overnight decision and i totally went for it because i wanted a change :) an hour and 16 inches of wavy hair (that i donated) later i got a super cute pixie cut that i hope to keep forever! :) i use garnier fructis maximum strentgh hair spray as well as a flat iron and some loreal hair wax :) you look great by the way! much love!

I have had short hair most of my life. I am just not a person who likes to play with her hair or spend a lot of time on it. The best products I have used are shine serums. It's harder to get that shine off of shorter hair. My husband has wavy/curly hair and he uses Paul Mitchell foaming pomade and it makes his hair beautiful and holds the wave

You look fantastic with the short hair! I chopped mine off and was terrified. I have thin, wavy, unmanageable hair. Getting it chopped was the best. My only advice is that if you are having a bad hair day, they have these cute floppy hats at hot topic and they cover up the mess =] also, no more bed head!

this reminds me of when i went from long to pixie its something completely different to have hair touching your neck and falling long to close to nothing in the back. i love that feeling though and this haircut looks great!!!

I have wavy hair and I had long hair that went to short hair. The soft back part of your hair is going to become addictive to you and others around you to touch (this happened to me in high school, my friends couldn't keep their hands off my hair once it got cut the first time). You will get used to it, but barrettes will become a must to get anything active done.

love it! i haven't ever gone as short as you, but i just recently chopped 8 inches up to my shoulders.. i find that It's A 10 products do an incredible job controlling frizz! I use the serum but I plan on picking up the spray version soon. I also love sebastian brand hairspray. It holds so well without making hair look crunchy. Have fun brave lady!!

Hi Stephanie, I actually find I like it best when I leave it curly. I wear it curly most days, the only part that takes work is training the sides to stay down (not stick out). I just put some bobby pins in while it's drying and sometimes use pomade. I hope that helps!

I have heavy thick wavy whirly hair, I've had a short layered short bob before and it looks good on me, but i have never went that short as yours. By the way it looks awesome on you...you have a beautiful face and can pull off the short style. Cute long side swept bang, just don't know if i would want that heavy of a bang bothering me. Im kind of partial to baby bangs. Yours look really good on you though. I so want to get a pixie but am a bit afraid of how my hair will look for my face. Some day I may get brave enough... If I lived in your area, I would so go to that same stylist! He was great! Love how he talked you through the cut and gave you advice as to why to do it this way or that way. We need more stylists like him around for sure.

Love my pixie cuts!!! And the best thing I can advise, is don't try to force your hair to do what it doesn't want to do. Your stylist did an awesome job!!! He really went with your curl pattern. That is so important! But even when you get home, after a couple of days you will notice how your hair want to lay with that cut. No biggie if it's not exactly like how you looked coming out of the salon. Just go with it!!! Awesome cut and your face is gorgeous!

I have short hair, for styling my hair i blow dry it straight with a comb and use Got2b glued as hair product. Works really well

With wavy hair, if you plan to do any styling to it, blowing drying it with a round brush to make it somewhat straight worked for me.

I've just been going with the wavy hair, I wet it in the morning and let it curl, then put just a drop of product in (not too much). It's so easy! I use pomade to keep the back and sides flat.

shave mine! my advice is to spend time working with it, I will never grow mine out, I have grown to love it and it keeps getting shorter. You look fresh and young, it does great things for your face! And your hair will love you for it!
