Hiya!
I’m Ellie and this channel follows me on my journey through life, navigating chronic illness and disability in a world that wasn’t designed for us. I finally flew to mauritius on a long haul flight as a wheelchair user! This is my first long haul flight with my wheelchair and I'm so relieved it went well!

I'm thinking about posting more videos on my channel. I only have 1 or 2 about Gastroparesis from a few years ago. But since then, I was diagnosed with a few other things including EDS about a month ago. Thank you so much for posting videos.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a q-tip or a brick, if it goes on my lap it’s falling on the floor. I’ve never mastered carrying stuff and wheeling. 😂 I am flying in a couple weeks!

Is it a problem as an actress if you change your appearance on holiday by tanning/hair bleaching/etc? Loved this video as I'm waiting on delivery of my first wheelchair and the thought of flying with it terrified me. (Going to the shops in it terrifies me too - just to give a scale ) 😀

I’m so glad you’ve found this channel because I was exactly the same! I now film things so that I have to actually do them! I took my dog out for a walk alone for the first time 6 years after getting my wheelchair! Hopefully I can show you that it’s not as scary as we all assume! And yes it is a problem with me tanning/changing my appearance so I have to wait for being ‘out of continuity’. It basically means that I have to schedule holidays for when I’m in between filming episodes so that I don’t change in the middle of one!

I’m floored that you don’t have a huge huge following. I’m also very grateful that you make the videos you do! I’m in the chronic illness/chronic pain community and seeing you living your life (on rest days and fun days and hard days) makes me feel so much less alone. Thank you for being you!
