WELL DONE!!! It’s important to let new people know that you don’t need for everything to be period correct (PC) out of the gate as you did, it can intimidate folks right out of the craft before they ever get started. Thanks for pointing that out!! Do you subscribe to any black powder forums?

That’s a nice hat, how did you convert a Stetson? Did you start with an old hat?

Yes I started with a hat I already had. I cut the edge of the brim off with the wire inside and used a hot iron to work out the other parts of the hat.

I believe that particular hawk is a cold steel tomahawk.
