Hi everybody! Addressing the content side of the channel that I couldn't put into words on camera.. It's no secret that this channel has fallen by the wayside and not been a big priority for me the past few years. A few months ago I uploaded the dual 400Z feature after 9 months of inactivity, and since then, haven't followed up with any other content. Uploading that video after such a long gap felt SO great, but at the same time, felt so ingenuine because, at least to me, came off very "hey here's a video, bye now!". That's a shitty feeling and not something I want to represent myself and this channel. I really do miss the consistent uploads and activity in between them, updating with statuses or BTS on shoots or the editing. I had trouble explaining this next part on camera because it feels so egotistical and silly to me - but truly I have been my own biggest obstacle when it comes to shooting and publishing content. I developed such a thought of "well if I can't do this video like X, Y, Z, then it's not worth it / isn't good enough / won't represent good work". This may sound silly to some, but it's driven my anxiety and imposter syndrome I have over my own content (whether for the channel or clients) to such extremes. Further accelerated by the way content has been consumed over the last few years, with the internet's general focus on shorts / reels / tiktoks. The constant state of shoot car -> publish -> shoot car -> publish for the sake of short form content. Heavy on the effects. No real depth or feeling to the content. That isn't something I want to make. Don't get me wrong, those are cool and all, but I'm not interested in creating anything like that. Last year I did do some therapy for those feelings - and have been able to understand and rationalize why I feel that way and why it holds me back, and how to move past those feelings. All I want to do is create content that pushes my own limits to continue to grow as a cinematographer - as those limits get pushed, it requires more resources. More time from myself, from the vehicle owner, hands on deck to assist, different equipment. Videos with cohesive themes between the vehicle, setting, music, and 'storyline'. Videos like "TERMINAL LOOP", "OPTIONS", or "VALLEY OF FIRE", for example. Creating videos that people come back to year after year. These videos make me feel alive and like I'm doing what I was meant to with life. These generally aren't videos for clients / brands / businesses, so it's not like they are funded / paying the bills, etc. Client work will always have to come first and I'm happy to share those pieces when they're appropriate for the channel or I'm allowed to share them through this channel. With that said, I realize that I shouldn't let these feelings become excuses and hold myself back. I have always wondered what this channel could be IF it was my priority and posted on a regular schedule, diversified my content. I feel extremely thankful that the channel has grown to the size it is, to have people like y'all looking forward to what I post here, and to walk away from that would be foolish. I have not stopped shooting through the past 2 years, and have several features that have been started of some very nice cars, and have a long list of vehicles that I plan to begin putting in a rotation to create features again. I have a good sized back log of content that has been fully shot but not edited - I plan on rolling these out to close out this year. Additionally, I am looking to bringing proper automotive photography tutorials to the channel that cover different scenarios, styles, and how to approach them. The biggest hurdle here has been finding someone who is consistently available to help film them (if you're in Orlando and interested, reach out). Maybe the livestream reviews and editing sessions will come back as well. I don't want to make any promises and fall out on my word. But I did genuinely enjoy doing those and had a great time with everyone who participated. Hope some of this makes sense, and if you read through, thank you. I will be back to posting here consistently very soon, promise that. Much love

We can feel the hurdles in your voice. The passion is still there but its buried by worries, everyday problems, anxiety of a constantly growing world that we cannot keep up with. Trust me, most of us go through that. You just need to trust yourself and that we will be here waiting, whenever you manage to face your fears. Never forget the feelings you've had when you started and what you've felt when you were at your peak. Take care.

Doesn't matter how long or what type of video it is, any Halcyon upload is a good day. I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that you, Krispy and the many others that have documented the amazing events and individual builds and people over the years are an inspiration to a lot of people, myself included. I probably wouldn't be chasing cars through forests today had it not been for that inspiration. Thank you.

Hey man I just happened upon this video series. Love the build. I have a 2004 e blue srt4 I got in 2020 and I havent looked back since. Shes my baby. What you said in the first video about working on the car with your dad really resonated with me; my father had a 2001 ACR neon when I was in high school and the srt4 came out when i was a senior and ive wanted one ever since. Keep up the neon content brother.....love it!

I understand the self-doubt feeling when making content, constantly saying "This isn't good enough" That perfectionist mentality is an extrmee road block. Glad you're able to overcome it. I come back to watch a few videos regularly, especially the CartelFunds video. The fact that you filmed, edited, produced, and even made a song for that is incredble. I know that we look at ourselves as people who are constsntly progressing, and chasing that progression. But remember, from the outside looking in, thousands of people look up to you and idolize your work. You are truly talented dude. The Neon looks AWESOME! Can't wait to see it. 2024 is gonna be great. Hey Anthony! I remember running into you at an Ace Cafe meet in Orlando a couple years ago and feeling star struck! You’ll always have my support man. A lot of your early content like the old volvo s60r video was what exposed me to your channel. Sometimes a break is necessary to help combat issues with content creation. I wish you the best, and hopefully again I’ll run into you at another car meet. Getting the Neon photographed on film would be super fun!

Man it’s so awesome to see you back behind (in front in this case) of the camera and to get an update on the neon! Absolutely love all the small and subtle styling cues of this and the fact you took inspiration from everything you love and that inspires you. Millennium Jade was a perfect choice on that as well and love the wheel and tire fitment too. Can’t wait to see this thing fully buttoned up and riverside is a show I’ve always been wanting to go too. Keep up the good work man and don’t worry about putting out content you got a life long fan here 😎💪🏻💯

Realtune performance is going to be coming out with a reproduction belt molding for the doors.....they are really really hard to come by youd have to get them used. Id wait for their set to come out. They also make shifter cables for the car as well. They are AWESOME. Also, Kinnettic Kreations makes a wire tuck harness for the car that Im running. They are the best hands down. That harness would look sick in your engine bay. The guys in the community are very knowledgeable aboht these cars dont hesitate to reach out for other input.

Any channel I subscribe to I've done so because I like their work. People have all types of opinions about content and all that but I like to sit back and chill. This isn't like a Patreon thing where I'm putting money up so I'm not going to mouth off about what I want to see or on what schedule I want to see it happen. Life is rough sometimes. The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry. Take your time. Take care of yourself and your business and whenever you do upload the next video I'll have a pleasant surprise for that day. Keep your sword arm strong and carry on bro.😎👍

BTW , I've tried to DM you on IG a few months ago about using some of your music for some Assetto Corsa videos. I've got a whole 13 subscribers so it's not like it's for money , I just love your tracks. LMK if you get a moment. PS: You do great work , no imposter syndrome needed.
