Try to compare same switches in the same row, next to each other. Plate has different tension in different areas of the keyboard, due to mounting and padding used. Thus different rows sound completely like different switches.

I have mixed feelings about my baby raccoons. I dig the relaxing hollow sound profile it imparts in the office; these are pretty stinkin' loud for a linear switch. One complaint I can say is that it's so hard to type accurately because of how easily they trigger. For work I would prefer something more accurate as it takes a toll on my accuracy. I bought some Wooke Heavy Tactiles that I've been dragging my feet on lubing but damn can I ever type fast on those. While typing this I realized that you are right, they aren't THAT touchy. To those who want a little more out of them, the nice folks in the Divinkey chat highly recommended som two stage XL springs to compliment these preferences! It's a bit of a compromise until I find some GOLD springs cuz these springs are nothing short of premium. I would have given them an 8 out of 10 early on but as they have matured with the factory lubing I have grown to love how relaibly and somewhat tacticle the rebound of long poles is if you are used to typing at a consistant tempo like I am; and for that these are an almost ideal 9/10 with room for another half point with some better springs.

The gateron adult kangaroos do exist tho. I've tried them from the gateron switch tester and i think they're really good tactiles and quite underrated because there's no detailed review of them out there on yt and i really don't understand why

Hey lume. Not sure of you mentioned this already but with pre lubed switches... when to lube and film them do you remove factory lube before doing it or do you clean them all first?

Sound wise on video, the g pro does appeal to me more. Feel wise I’m sure the raccoon feels sharper.

to answer your questions at the end. sure, it's kind of surprising that they sound so different. no, i hate all of those switches. I have to work in an office with other people and program a lot in cafes. I can't have loud switches like that, and I cannot fathom how anyone could live with loud switches. I just use haimu heartbeats or even silent alpacas if I need even quieter switches. I can't understand how people can bear switches louder than heartbeats.
