After the shock of the battle in New Zealand, John Titor is transported to Nice, on France's Côte d'Azur, in July 2024, in the rain. Titor feels strangely at peace after so much violence. A feeling of déjà vu overcomes him at the sight of this bay, its buildings, its smells. Inexplicably, the machine has sent him to a place where he feels at home.
