proud to be the first thumbs down. The NBA did/does most of these dunks on 10' rims, and they don't practice dunking fulltime. Not only is pro-dunking not a sport, it's just video content for clicks. It's no more real than reality TV. Until you guys are more strict on having regulation rims this is not anywhere near being a sport.

Idk if this is a fact but jordan feels like the most veteran, always cool and unmoved by pressure he plays safe and knows that he dont need no crazy dunk and just needs to be consistent in the early and mid stage of the contest.

They're eliminating way too many people each round. They're getting rid of 2 people each round for some reason. Only 4 episodes in and we're down to two contestants.

Next year maybe they will change the rules. No eliminations, the overall winner just has the highest cumulative score, that way we can see all of them throughout.

Jordan’s consistency is tough to beat! Isaiah’s dunk was better but the attempts killed the momentum. They judge off that. Personally, I’d pick best dunk.

I think they take the attempt rule a bit too harsh . If one of the most difficult and best dunk ever doesn’t win on your 4th attempt. Then why even have 5 attempts at all .

@eel3161 I agree that the double up was far more impressive than the windmill over person. Rivera pushed off ALOT on that one. The Dwight elbow is no piece of cake either, I just think the 360 BTL off glass was superior. Jordan hit his first attempt & hasn’t missed a single dunk and it shows on the leaderboard.

I knew it would come down Kilganon getting it 1st try over Isaiah. Yeah Isaiah’s was more difficult but the degree of difficulty wasn’t great enough from Jordan’s to ignore the 4 tries

@@JohnEvans not really. If you’ve been paying attention to the whole contest you’ll notice they count any start as an attempt whether you go into the dunk or not. Everyone has been subject to that

The points system kinda wrecks the show a bit, because Gross has been crazy ever since his stumble at the start. He doesnt deserve to be in the elimination round every week

@@icyboy771z yeah but, consistency or not, those dunks don't deserve to be in elimination every week man. They should reset the points every round, and score the dunkers off their performance in that specific round.

If the guys in the elimination round were just who was worst in each individual competition though, then you could have a situation where one of the best like JC or Kilganon just has a single bad day and gets knocked out. Pros and cons to each

I have a huge respect for JC the Jumper but this year he's a little bit overrated. Kilganon and Rivera have the most creative and spectacular dunks, JC is just more consistent, but this can't give you the first place

for next season they shouldn’t eliminate anyone just see who gets the most points out of all of the rounds to see who is the best all around dunker then you can have a finals or whatever with the people that had the most points

All I can say is…. It could’ve easily been anybody moving on to the next round. As a judge we had to find a strict format and stick to it regardless of who they are as a dunker! That’s tough!

With all my love to all dunkers and this show. At least it should be 10ft rim. I know that camera can hide almost everything but on some frames for example 9:34 11:31 you can see how big guys are to the height of the rim like they were 6.9ft On this team, we fight for that inch On this team, we tear ourselves, and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We CLAW with our finger nails for that inch. Cause we know when we add up all those inches that's going to make the fu*king difference between WINNING and LOSING between LIVING and DYING. And yes, few inches lower MAKES THE FUC*N DIFFERENCE! especialy on show like this to be taken serious.

Jordan Kilganon is so consistent this season. He really means business this time around. Few years ago, he would go and attempt the most difficult dunks out of his arsenal and probably miss or got himself injured. Isaiah Rivera's 360 between the leg off the backboard was insane. If only he could done it in his 1st or 2nd try, then he sure would've won that elimination dunk-off. The 4th try really took the hype out of that dunk.

I don't understand such an obsession with the number of attempts. On the other hand, this somehow negates the advantage in the order of performance. I argue with myself. In any case, I was more impressed with what Isaiah did. And I would also like to add a word of thanks to Dan Gross, who is doing or trying to do something crazy.

Rivera deserved to win last dunk as all 3 dunkers could have done jordans kilganons dunk, but none couldve done riveras and they told dunkers you have 5 attempts not one

@Segun Oyeniyi he doesnt. most of them can do jordans dunks..and even better. just look at the last round where Gross did a bounce through the legs scorpion. something kilganon will never be able to do. never. Kilganon lost every big dunk contest he was a part of and then gets butt hurt. i remember when he lost the dunk contest where shaq and chuck where judges and then he cried like a baby because he couldnt do his dunks. most unclutch dunker of all time

Although Kilganon has been killing it I think Isaiah should have won that last round. I don’t like when they penalize someone for the amount of attempts they take because it just causes people to go with safer dunks

@@janoycresnova9156 nah, it would be arguable with kilganon between the legs from that distance, you need to pull verticality and bring the ball literally below you to dunk and still needs to make it to the other side, that was also difficult man.

Isaiah’s was best IMO because his body alignment to windmill is harder than eastbaying since eastbaying didn’t take any extra ball movement

Rivera scammed. Jordan played it safe and did a pretty simple dunk while Rivera did one of the best dunks of the entire competition.
