@@husseinabbas8870 That’s not true actually? Feeling pain often does indeed train your pain tolerance. How much pain you can handle increases the more and more you suffer from it, simply because your brain begins to associate pain as a daily occurrence.

The fact that this man achieved his goal with CRPS condition is absolutely astounding and inspiring. For those who aren’t aware, CRPS is one of the most painful conditions known to humans. It’s been named “the suicide disease” because of its unexplainable levels of continuous pain. Most people who have CRPS describe it as feeling like being continuously burned of having your veins filled with fuel and lit on fire. I am so inspired by your achievement and the pain you have had to fight through in order to break this record! Your incredibly mentally and physically strong. Thanks for sharing this video

I experienced something similar for a month when I had a kidney infection. My entire abdominal was on fire with no relief, I think I only had a few hours of sleep the whole month, still my worst life experience to date. I can't imagine living like that my whole life

Actually and probably because he has that condition this record happened, for him this is double the pain of everyone else's, but he is always beating the pain, so his will power for this type of stuff needs to be legendary, respect.

It's just ridiculous. When I was in the Navy (and in my physical prime) I managed like 7-8 minutes, and I was pushed by many others since it was a competition. How this dude managed 9 and a half hours is beyond me. The same goes for the non-stop push-up record: 10507. My PB is a pathetic 57. I have some work to do

It’s not only about toughness, endurance, or strength, but self control. This guy had issues with pain problems but he was in control of his elements. And he did it for 9h30 minutes. Absolutely awesome

9.5 minutes is nothing really. I can do 6 minutes and I don't even train a lot. 95 minutes however would be extremely impressive for the average person.

@@EarthIsFlat456 Haha, same here. Got 7:12 minutes on my first try. Although why anyone would want to do it is beyond me. Plank is a pretty useless exercise. There are way better ones to train the core out there.

Depends on the person. I planked at home on a day off binging anime for 12 hours straight and could've went more, but doubted anyone would beat it on video. Also no cheating by getting drinks or food from watchers. Didn't throw up or feel sick anytime. Never feel any pain in this position for some reason. If I could get paid for doing this I'd do it lol

I don't suffer from chronic pain per se, but I do have chronic fatigue and it can make workouts and physical activity extremely difficult and uncomfortable. I truly appreciate the effort this guy put in to raise awareness - I feel like he was advocating for people like me as well.

In my experience: gets crappy to the ~14min mark he mentioned, gets worse to the 40min mark, and gets progressively better from there. Unlike with other exercises and exercise modes: in my experience, there's no change in comfort level until ur muscles relax. I think the 'flat' ending is typical of aerobic exercises tho.
