I thought Intruder couldn't get any better, now it gets a cover. I was originally sad that we didn't get any more covers but now I changed my mind if that means we get stuff like play with me and intruder I'm SO HYPED.

This is probably stupid but everyone has cringe thoughts now and again, I like to imagine this version is from the perspective of someone who's completely overcome their fear of the Alternates and uses that to hunt them, using the phrases they commonly use ("I'm inside your home" for example) as little insults or the opening lyrics making a mockery of the creatures

at 2:21 it really sounds like the intruder is imitating some fatherly figure's voice to lure you in, genius.

Genuinely thought this song couldn't get any better, *god damn* was I wrong. The sheer intensity this cover brings to this song is crazy good, it's genuinely next to impossible not to headbang through the entire thing. And the beginning of the third chorus was executed so damn well with the somber/calm vocals giving a few seconds of clarity and anticipation right before being thrown into one hell of a finale. Honestly, I've always casually enjoyed metal, but ever since I came across your channel & your work, you've gotten me absolutely hooked. Rock on man, you've knocked it far out of the park on this one 🔥🔥

i didn't use to like intruder tbh, it felt a bit too all over the place for me at first. been a few months and i saw the lse2 video with Dean covering his voice with miku and went to back to listen to it, and oh boy i fell in love so quickly somehow. i went to the metal version instead to comment this because it's just imo the definitive version of the song. it captures a desperate feeling so perfectly and every chorus feels like something is close behind on your tail, not to mention the guitar progression through the chorus aswell compliments the vocals so perfectly. they carry throughout the whole song and make everything feel tied together and flow well which alot of songs fail at. this one doesn't, every section feels neatly connected. and of course the final chorus with the edited ending lyrics, that dropping feeling reminds me of Hypnosis (i guess it'd be the other way round in this case lol) and how it felt like every effort you had completely failed and you could feel your heat sink into your chest at the end. i really went on a tangent here but hard not to when this song just propelled me through an art session for the last 7 hours, absolutely beautiful work on this song dude.

Listening this with my weirdly broken headphones makes the "do you hear it part?" funnier bc I can barely hear any of the vocals. The bass is still there though.

At 0.75x speed, it sounds more demonic and intimidating, the power behind the bass being almost nightmarish. At 1.00x speed, it's a strong, standard metal remix, but stays very safely close to the original song. At 1.25x speed, it's a power song, something you'd workout to--probably while running away from an alternate. All badass in their own way.

in my opinion the metal version is 10x better than original for being banger even more. this might be the best mandela catalogue song and its perfect for a perfect villain team
