@@wewwew8505 Fully grown mantis is a very fierce battle but orb weaver should win in most cases. If both are fully grown, the orb weaver will spend quite a bit of time wrapping the mantis up, but eventually should triumph if there isn't any outside interference.

Why the fuck do they just throw the other bug into the spiders web? That simply isn't fucking fair wtf? Once its limbs get entangled it has no chance and that is exactly what happened the moment it landed in that web. We all know what a spider does when it catches something in its web... That was kind of cruel and the insect never stood a chance and NO insect that you just throw into a fucking huge spider's web is going to.

I love how commentators make even the banalest and most mundane facts about spiders sound as if it is some amazing revelation. *BY USING THEIR LEGS, SPIDERS CAN WALK!!!* Also, the video should be called "spider catches a beetle", there is no real fight in it. Finally, the lady doctor says that spider "knows" that the beetle is dangerous, but it is incorrect as spiders are almost always nearly blind and they can not differentiate a damn thing about their victims besides their weight and how fast they are trying to move.
